Trail Dust Steak House

This is a kid spot through and through, but the pace is lively enough for adults to have fun too. The emphasis here is on casual--REALLY casual. Men caught wearing a necktie will have them promptly snipped off! If you doubt it, just check the walls lined with the remnants of those who dared enter over-dressed! The huge slide in the middle of the room will keep the kiddies busy. When they tire of that, then the roaming balloon clown will make them a special something of their choosing. Although the pace is a bit frenetic, your kids will have a ball and the food (with a heavy emphasis on beef an' taters) is actually quite tasty. Of course it's louder than anything in there, but that's to be expected. The wait staff is great, given all they have to juggle and it makes for a fun visit. more

Trail Dust is such a fun place for a family. I wouldn't suggest a first date here, as it is kind of loud with the live band singing country music! It is really a perfect place for the kids, as they have a clown who makes balloon animals, a characaturist and most importantly, the big slide! The food is pretty decent, but it is a little on the expensive side. I know they have some specials during the week which are worth checking into! You can do a little line dancing after your meal, which can be even more fun after you have had a few drinks from their full bar! more
