Trading Closet

I have never went into a dumpy and non organized second hand shop before, until I went trading closet. What a joke. Someone needs to put the witchy shop owner in her place and make her feel as though she is 10 years old like she does to others. Never again will I ever ever return to that dumpster diving stink shop! Pros: none at all Cons: as soon as they shut it down more

Trading Closets is terrible...the customer service is EXTREMELY rude, the store is often disorganized, and you have to shift through dozens of hideous, over-worn things to find anything worth while. Given, many of the clothes there are NOT my style, but still...even that being so, I can tell crap-quality when I see it. Furthermore, when I brought in items to sell (items I had been given, hated, and thus were brand new), I was told they had stains on them, and thus could not be sold. Now, tell me how that is possible, when they were BRAND NEW?! They also are overpriced for a second-hand store, and all the hassle you have to go through just to find a shirt is ridiculous. I was actually asked by a classmate of mine if Trading Closets was decent, and I had to talk her out of going. Spread the word. Pros: Absolutly none, actually Cons: How long have you got...? more

I went into the trading closet to sell some of my family's clothes, which were all name brand and had only been worn a few times. I was told the clothes were too ""old"" and and not ""teenager looking."" Not only are we saying that teens shouldn't and wouldn't buy clothing that are made of fabrics like silk and are of nicer quality to wear, to say a job interview, DUH!!! but the labels were too old??? Express is Express is Express especially if the tags are still on and they are only a year old!!!! And how more teenager like can you get with the brand GUESS? You really can't get more un-professional than that!! If you are looking for cotton tees with brand names splashed on the front or jeans, this is the place for you, but other than that, I wouldn't trade my closet for this place. And the woman working made me feel like my clothes were out-of-date, and simply not juvenile enough. more

I think this store is an awesome idea! I not only found a way to make some money off clothes I wasn't wearing, but I found great stuff too. I think that everyone looking for name brand clothes should stop here before going anywhere else. I love it! Pros: Great clothes and great prices more

Employees at trading closets are very rude. I was trying to return name brand clothes and the lady was very rude when informing me she wouldnt take any of my clothes due to out of season/style. She talks down to you and makes you feel like your clothes are nasty, even when perfectly up to date. (I later sold them on E-Bay for a good amount money). I would never try to hand in clothes there again.\r If you are looking for clothes its better to go to the new goodwill in brockport, they are way cheaper for brand names, and the same quality as stinky trading closets.\r they need to get some better trained employees to work there that have human decency. I bought clothes from this store and when I brought them home I realized they smelled so bad.\r i brought them back and the woman working was so mean to me. \r She has the worst customer service skills i have ever seen.\r I do not recommend this store to anyone Cons: parking stinks more

I love your store. It has all my favorite labels. Abercrombie, American Eagle, Guess, Hollister, True Religion, Limited, X2 and more...\r I find bargins there every time I go. \r I just recently bought all my fall/winter clothes. I spent a fraction of what I would have spent at the mall for all the clothes I left with. \r They get new inventory daily... so there is always New stuff to look at!\r I have also sold clothes there. I bring in my clothes and trade for new. I have great customer service. Karen and Jessica are always happy to see me. I love that you get cash on the spot... no consignment waiting! \r I love Trading Closets!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The lady who owns the place does not seem to be very nice. I went in to try to put some clothes of mine on consignment, all of them were brand name clothes in good condition, and she didn't want to take them. Ok, that would be fine, but she was kind of rude about it. Maybe she's nicer to people who are buying clothes, but that sure doesn't make me want to stop back to shop. more
