Trader Jon's is NOT your average resale shop. I hadn't been to a ""pawn"" type shop before and was kind of nervous about visiting one for the first time. I went to another one in the area first because I didn't know better and they were kind of rude and a little bit sleezy. The next place on my list was Trader Jon's and WOW what a difference! You can tell this place is FAMILY ran and that they respect you and your items. I got more for my grandma's gold there than anyone else has offered me. Since my first visit, I have gone a few other times and recieved the same treatment by all of the employees. I didn;t necessarily think I would buy something from a resale shop, just sell, but this Xmas I will probably wind up getting most of my gifts there because there is tons of jewelery and other items I know my family will love and I wouldn't pay full price when I can get them at such a great deal at Jon's store. Highly recommended for first time ""pawn"" shop visitors!! more

Many times Trader Jon's will offer yu store credit to buy something you DO want for something you no longer need and may even extend the value because you're buying a wanted item in his store.
