Great shopping 8/26/2006

I have been a Trader Joe's fan for years. I like to stock up on their frozen foods to have around when I don't have other quick food options. Their produce is okay. Their wine and beer prices are great. I also love to get their nuts and snacks. They have great prices and good service. more

So small! 6/9/2006

Some Trader Joe's are better than others and this is a relatively small one which can get annoying when it is crowded (dinner time and weekends). They have a pretty good selection. They switched their entrance and exit since they were there and I really think the new setup is horrible. Basically, if I want stuff from Trader Joe's I send my DH because it annoys me too much to go to this one. more

Wish they stocked a little better, but a great store 3/18/2006

First, let's get my gripe out of the way. You better shop early in the day because if you wait until 8 or 9 pm, you may have to make another trip. I work by there in the evenings and it's most convenient to stop by on my way home, but I am often greeted by empty shelves or a product that they generally carry is not being stocked for a week or two - they seem to have inconsistent suppliers. And I don't know if they don't have the personnel to stock during the day or don't have the space to store the stuff they need, but it's disappointing to leave with half your list. But the prices are very good on things you'll see at Whole Foods for twice the price. And they make it easy for quick meals with their packaged salads and their "just chicken" or their frozen entrees, which are quite good for those days where you just can't bring yourself to cook, but you don't want a Namebrand (read: full of preservatives and non-natural ingredients) frozen dinner. more
