do not shop here if you don't have to. staff are a bunch of know it all a**holes. not much good inventory unless you want to play 80s music. manager need to grow some cajones and control his staff. all in all worst experience I've ever had in a store. just say no to overpriced, outdated equipment and rude, precocious staff. craigslist flakes are better to deal with then this place - and has better equipment - what a joke. more

Selling Instruments That They Wouldn't Buy Themselves 12/30/2008

I went in to buy a Jaw's harp, thinking the folks at Trade-Up music would have as good or better taste than me in all kinds of unusual instruments. Turns out that they only sell a ""novelty"" jaw's harp that the employees wouldn't even buy themselves - they buy their jaw's harps somewhere else. Of course, I wasn't told this until I tried to return the low quality jaw's harp, and they refused to give me a refund or credit because of ""state law"". more
