Toys R US

I probably spend too much time at ToysrUs shopping for the grandchild. I like this one though. It's a real pain to return items if something is defective in them, but I do like their sales on things that interest my granddaughter like video games or certain toys. They are always having a sale. This one isn't very huge. I mean, it's big, but not like a lot of the other national stores. You'll find more things online on their website that this store does not carry. Also, in the back, is their clearance aisle hidden in the back right of the store. There usually is nothing but toys that don't work or toys that are mere junk, but sometimes you'll find a Bratz doll or something like that marked down really low. They also have events often for the kids, so check their website to stay up with when they have them. They'll have Geoffrey or whatever character the event is sponsored by--like one time it was a Care Bear--walking around in costume, and they have pictures for the kids to color and a small goody bag for them. They also have a place set up where you can take photos of your child or grandchild. In all, not a bad toy store. more

I usually do my Toys R Us Shopping online because sometimes, you can get better deals online than in the brick and mortar store. This Toys R Us is located in the same shopping center as Old Navy in Tuscaloosa (behind Red Lobster). Well, I usually have a question about an item, or about a sale going on, and more than half the time I was able to get an answer immediately (as opposed to having to chase down the employees), and they were rather nice at this store. The lines aren't terrible, except on days when they have a REALLY good sale; then it's next to impossible to get out of there. They have a lot of sales often in their video game department, and more than half the time, they are really good ones (sales). I've been in a situation a few times where I had an item that wouldn't fit in my backseat OR my trunk without having to tie it down. I have always been able to get "string" from them so that I can do so with no problems. In all, this Toys R Us is pretty good. Everything is easy to find. I have never returned anything here, so I cannot rate on that however. But, I haven't had any complaints at this store. I've been pretty satisfied. more
