Best kennel and staff we have ever dealt with 12/20/2010

Townhouse for dogs was such a nice place to take my dog, my dog came out of there happy and content. The people there also sent me emails with videos and pictures of my dog while he stayed in the kennel. What I liked about this place was the friendly staff and that a person is there 24 hours a day. more

LOVE IT 8/16/2010

we used this kennel for the first time this summer 2010, and we have already been back. Our dogs were happy and groomed wonderfully. they loved going there and the reception the people give my dogs makes my time away from them easier on all of us as a family. more

STAY AWAY!!!!!!! 7/20/2010

Stay away. We had our dog groomed at this place and she was absolutely butchered. Instead of brushing out a couple of matted areas she was shaved in patches. We had to take her to a truly professional groomer to correct the mess they created. Something as simple as a phone call would have prevented this but they did not even do that well. It will take months for her coat to grow back. A real disaster. more

great grooming/boarding 4/26/2010

My dogs go there for both services. we love everyone there and so do our dogs. our poodle looked great and was always happy and now our mutt has the same experience because he is always happy. he was just there this weekend and came home happy. more

Best Kennel my family has ever used 12/29/2009

The people at this kennel are the friendlist people, i have met in the business, they are always cheerful and helpful, especially when one of my dogs got old and needed special attention, they gave him all the attention in the world and he came out of there happy then we had seen him in awhile. We will always recommend Town House for dogs to all people we know that have pets. Thank you for being great Pros: saw videos of my dogs while staying there more

Town House For Dogs & Cats is awful! 10/1/2009

My dogs have never bitten anyone. Somehow though whenever they went here for grooming they were called biters. They are not, so clearly these people were hurting them bad enough to cause them to try to defend themselves. I would never, ever go here again. Besides being lousy groomers (definitely do not bring your poodle here), they are mean to the dogs. more

WONDERFUL KENNEL 9/20/2009

Everyone there is wonderful and I do know that playtime and individual time is done always. I have been there when it was being done. They allow me to visit with my dog while i was in the process of moving to Westport. I truly think everyone there is great. more

Best Kennel I have ever used 8/14/2009

Great kennel with experienced staff. All caring for my cats' needs. They also groom her and she comes out looking beautiful. Everyone at the kennel is always so friendly and cheerful. more

Awesome kennel 1/21/2009

My dogs stayed there for the first time during christmas break, i was leary because they always stayed with a petsitter but she retired and i needed to find someone for a scheduled vacation. I loved this place and so did my dogs, they were happy and well taken care of and i have taken them there twice after that and they are always excited to go there when we pull up in the parking lot. more

Stay away 1/17/2009

The woman who runs the grooming place also runs the townhouse. Stay far away. She injured my dog's eye so terribly causing corneal ulcers and my racking up opthamology bills over $5000 in 3 years. He never recovered. She was given a written paper ahead of time warning her he had cataracts, and when I picked him up, his eye was sealed shut due to an injury from the scissors. The facility is horrible, and when I picked him up you could hear the dogs barking and the owners using disgusting language screaming at them. I cannot believe they are still in business! more

great boarding kennel 2/26/2008

my dogs are my life. I had to go away for a funeral and was reluctant to leave my dogs anywhere. I went to town house for dogs and loved Debbie (manager), she lives on the premises and is always available to talk on the phone when I call to check on my dogs. The other people that work their are very loving to the dogs also. Now my babies go there for boarding and grooming. more
