When I host a dinner for friends and family I always purchase the meat for the meal at Town and Country Meats. It is a small meat market but they have some really good meat. It is fresh and delicious. I usually purchase ground chuck or Brisket. If it is going to be a barbque, I definitely purchase the brisket. My hubby smokes the brisket and it is out of this world good. I always trek right on over to Town and Country Meats to purchase my party making meats. more

Best beef in town 3/31/2006

I lived in Alexandria from 1963-2004, and the best beef that my family ever had came from Town & Country. for special occasions, I loved to barbecue, and before a barbecue, I would go and buy my meat there..... the staff was always friendly and knowledgeable, and my barbecues were always a hit with out of town company more
