This Veterinarian is awesome! I had a torn ligament ""ACL"" and surgery had to be done. I wad given an astronomical price somewhere else and could afford it. I began searching online for other options and came accross this vet. I called and they made me feel like they were really trying to help me. Long story short, I went in for a free consultation and spoke to one of their surgeons Dr. Mordaunt. He was very knowledgable and frank about the procedure. I was able to work payment plan (unheard of in Miami) and the surgery came out almost at half the cost of the original one i was given at the other place.\r I will continue to bring my dog here for everything. I feel that the staff really cares and they have reasonable prices. This is by far a great place, try it out and you will not be disappointed! more

Town and Country Animal Hospital has been serving my own dogs, plus all of my rescues, for several years now. They are not only considered one of the best animal hospitals in South Florida for professional and medical reasons, but their ""country doctor"" approach to both me and my dogs is absolutely heartwarming. The doctors and the staff are endlessly patient and handle the dogs with such a loving, gentle touch. Equally important, they are very sensitive to the owners' concerns and questions, and never generate an anxious or rushed feeling when you're in the examination room. You KNOW you have the undivided attention of your doctor and the vet tech for as long as you need it. It's clear that they are not just in the BUSINESS of carring for animals; this team really loves what they do and the animals in their care. Luckily, my own dogs have never suffered any traumatic medical issues, but my rescue scenarios have ranged from hernia surgeries to the removal of bullets, and everything in between. The care and medical attention given these poor dogs is unmatched, not to mention the treats and playful attention. With a rescue, you never know what medical or temperament issue you're dealing with....but they handle my rescues with confidence and tenderness. For the level of service they offer, they are extremely fair. In fact, my neighbor just switched over to them because the exam/nuetering for her new Chi was over $200 less at TCAH with added post surgery pain care. Bottom line: they're superior in medical application and customer service, they're fairly priced, their establishment is always immaculate and their sincere love for animals shines through. If there was an option for a 100-star rating, that would be my choice for MY vet, Town and Country Animal Hospital. more

I have 6 kids that require their services, and I have very thankful for them! The vets are wonderful, professional, and excellent! The staffg is very helpful and kind. I am soooo thankful I found them! I love my pets! I only want the best for them, and I found it at Town and Country Animal Hospital. They saved the life of my Chihuahua, who suffers from seizures, fixed the ACL tear of my 10 old Jack Russel, who is now back enjoying her active, high energy lifestyle. Thank you!! more

In Dec 2003, 4 days before Christmas our beloved Captain, our Rottie passed away at home minutes after my husband left on a trip. I believe Captain waited until he left. It was a Sunday afternoon and I had no idea what to do and I phone a friend, who called your office. I was told yes bring him in and you would handle EVERYTHING for me and my husband. \r \r I was not a client of the hospital but they took care of Captain as if he had been one of their family. The doctor's & staff of T&C An Hospital ROCK!\r \r I have had a LOT of animals in my time and everytime I have an ill animal, which is one of my ""children"" they have come thru in making me & my ""child"" feel comfortable in every way. Even when it is a routine office visit it is always an easy process for everyone all around. And I usually have bring in more than one at a time and it is NEVER a problem. \r \r I have used their boarding and feel so comfortable in leaving my animals there in their care that I have no worries. The grooming is always a pleasure my retreiver Sugar comes home feeling refreshed and looking GOOOOOOOOD ! \r \r I live 20 minutes give or take from there and I will NOT change to another vet. They are WORTH every mile !!\r \r \r more
