I just wanted to let other shoppers be aware of the troubles I've experienced with this store. I think normally Town and Country locations are quite helpful and courteous, but I certainly cannot say that about this location.\r

Roofwerks recently re-did the roof of my townhouse, and in the process ripped a couple of my window screens but were unwilling to pay for them as ""no one saw them do it."" So I set out to have my screens repaired. I tried Lowes and Home Depot, but they don't do that type of thing. I decided to try one of the smaller, enighborhood type hardware stores, Town and Country Ace Hardware at Tymberline Shopping Center. The polit e woman who answered the phones assured me the screens would be pretty cheap to have repaired and led me to believe I'd get them done for under 30 dollars, probably around 25 for the two. \r

I took my screens in and left them on a Sunday. They assured me someone would make sure they were repairable and give me a call with the estimate. By Thursday, I had not heard from them, so I gave them a call. The manager said it would be over 50 bucks! After I questioned him, he said he had only estimated, then tallied them up and told me the price would be 34.50. Imagine my surprise when I attempted to pick them up 2 days later, and the price was now 49 dollars! Of course the manager was nowhere to be found, hadn't left the price he quoted me, and the staff refused to honor the price.\r

I wasted a trip several miles out of my way and still don't have my screens. Perhaps I'll be able to get them Monday... but god only knows what I'll have to pay!
Pros: They say they do repairs
Cons: They do not honor their quotes, rude.
