my car was disgusting. i live next to a few construction sites and my car always has a layer of dust on it. i broke down and decided i wanted to see what color my car was again, so i drove in when i happened to be driving by. it only cost $20 (which i thought was a nice price for the amount of vacuuming they had to do). i was watching for them to finish hand drying it (they have like 30 people all drying cars), when they drove my car around the back. i got nervous and followed them, but they were putting it through the wash a SECOND time. awsome. i even got the sunday paper.? more

I saw the negative reviews and I am surprised. I've been here three or four times and they have always done a decent job. Perhaps not ""excellent"" but ""very good"" is how I would rate them. For $21 plus tip, your car will be clean, inside and out. If anyone knows of a place that does a better job for the price, please let me know!? more

For about $20.00 you can get a great car wash. The washers were very professional and did a great job. It's a big operation and i was impressed that the quality was really good for an operation this size. The location is very easy to get to and it's easy to get in and out of the lot without having to have a second person directing traffic so of the other car wash places are stuck in a real tight spot so it takes about 7 minutes just to pull out. My car came out very clean (inside and outside) and they even got it smelling good just like a new car off the lot.? more

Tower Car Wash does a superb job of washing cars. There is a reason that they have a long line of cars on the first nice spring day after a long winter. They have a wide range of services from a simple car wash to completely detailing your car. You can watch your car be washed through the giant windows as it goes through the car wash. Your car is carefully dried off after the car wash by the contientous staff. I would highly recommend!!? more

I prefer to wash my car myself ($4), but when I'm in a hurry and need it spotless inside and out, I think this place does the best job - better than the one on Divisadero or the one in Berkeley. more

Nice detailed job, all done by hand except for the soap and water that sprays on the car. I like the attention to detail that the crew displays in the finishing. Ask for the cheapest wash, the current price is $18.99 which is good for me. It includes all the basics, inside and out. BTW this is a Chevron gas station too so you can use your Chevron gas card to pay for your wash. more

This place is a good place to get your car washed. It's basically all by hand which I love on my car. There is never a spot untouched so I have no complaints.? more

Great place to kick back and watch the crowd as you're waiting for your ride to be vacuumed, washed, and detailed. Free papers are a place and the detailers do great work. more

No complaints... They are fast, efficient, and friendly. I've been going her for months now and have been satisfied every time. Even after I didn't have any cash to tip them... Hopping they didn't remember me for the next time. I actually considered going somewhere else, because not only did I feel bad, but I didn't want any scratches on the car... But I had faith and there where no scratches... and this time I had a tip a little more significant than usual. Or was it to compensate for my little car? either way it made me feel better. more

Tower car wash is quite expensive but they are very good at quality. I did hot waxing, polish waxing, underbody blasting, rust inhibition, wheels & Whitewalls for $14.95. But you will always get some 3~4 dollar coupon if you keep an eye on the newspaper which will reduce the price for you. Also I love this car wash center because it is very near to my house.? more

$21 for a great and thourough clean. They even clean the door jams and windex the extrior side o the windows. I have to say I've paid a lot more for a lot less. Very pleased. BTW in and out in 15 mins, mind you it's 2pm on wednesday. more

I find this an easy place to stop into for a great wash. I always encounter friendly people and good service. On a nice day, the line can be a little backed up but nothing to worry about. It's usually a quick experience. I find it reasonable at $20 for the works! My car comes out clean as a whistle with tires shined and a hand dry. Plus, you receive a complimentary air freshener. While you can go to 'do it yourself places' and pay very little (around 4 or 5 dollars) it will not do nearly as much for your car. I think their best deal is 'the works' which includes an exterior wash, a foam protectant, a clear coat sealer, and undercarriage wash, a rust inhibitor, wheel brightner and air freshener. They have a deal going on right now so this only costs 21 dollars, but your car will look shiny and new. It's a good thing to do every other month or so. more

I brought my car in for a basic wash yesterday, and let me begin by saying my car was straigh-up filthy. I took it up to Tahoe the weekend before, and it got plastered with road salt, grime, dirty snow, etc. I normally handwash the car myself at a coin-operated car wash bay, usually the one on 16th and Potrero, but I did not want to clean up this mess. The filthiness of the car made heads turn, and I'd forget where I parked because I just didn't recognize it anymore. Anyway, this place is great for 3 reasons: 1) All hand washed. There's not a single mechanical brush or scrubber touching the car. Two men with what looked like micro-fiber wash clothes scrubbing down all sides. I watched, and they covered 2) Post-wash care included thorough drying and spot cleaning interior windows and wheels. 3) Cheap, for what you get. I usually wash my car for $10-14 at a car washing bay, but the time it takes me for wash then dry and touch up the interior is at least an hour, usually more. For ~$20, you get all this, done within 20 min of your time. My car came out spick and span. I'm definitely coming back. Get the basic wash, it's enough. If you want extra detailing on your car (spray wax, clay bar, carnauba wax, etc), take it home afterwards and DIY! This place is a great deal. more
