Truly love what they do 3/10/2011

The staff at Emerald Coast Animal Hospital is by far the best in the area. I have had dogs all of my adult life and visited many clinics. The clinic itself is clean and modern. The vets at this clinic are professional, compassionate and truly love what they do. The technicians are knowledgeable and professional.I recently had to say goodbye to my beloved Molly. The compassion shown by Dr. Jim Culotta and his staff has earned everyone at the clinic a special place in my heart.Your animals deserve the very best and I assure you, the staff at this clinic will provide your precious ""fur babies"" the very best care possible. more

The staff at Emerald Coast Animal Hospital is by far the best in the area. I have had dogs all of my adult life and visited many clinics. The clinic itself is clean and modern. Kind and understanding 3/7/2011

I know this is long overdue, but I had to say thank you for your kind & understanding heart. When you let me in after hours to get Ollie & Deja I was overcome with joy. It is such a relief to know that my vet staff truly cares about not only my pets, but my emotions. more

Compassionate 3/1/2011

My family and I want to thank all of you for your love and compassion. Saying goodbye to Molly was one of the hardest things I've had to do. Your caring hearts smoothed the edge of the pain. Love to all. more

Eases our fears. 2/9/2011

We moved to Destin, from Chicago, with our two Rottweilers Lily and Edgrr. Our vet in Chicago was the same person who treated Oprah's pets and appears on her show. Our standards were set quite high when it comes to our dogs healthcare. We have received such excellent care from Dr. Culotta and Tovrea (especially recently) that I felt compelled to place a comment here. Dr. Culotta has repaired both of Lilys knees and, after 5+ years, there is no arthritis. In the last two months, Edgrr has been diagnosed with Lymphoma. We opted for chemotherapy and Dr. Tovrea had taken charge. She found the most up to date protocol, described the process and will always take the time to talk to us and ease our fears. Ed is improving with each passing week. I can't thank the doctors and staff at Emerald Animal Hospital enough for taking care of our two dogs. more

Very Thankful 1/20/2011

Words cannot possibly express how thankful I am that Sierra-Jane was in their care. I will miss my beautiful brown-eyed girl and I know she is at peace and pain free. I am thankful for their gentle approch to her situation and compassion they offered me.\r more

Competent, friendly and patient 1/14/2011

When looking for a location that took care of pet Bunnies, there are very few that you can actually go to. I had called atleast 6 locations. What I had found were at least 3 locations, 2 in Fortwalton and 1 in Niceville that cared for Rabbits. I chose the Animal Hospital because the staff that I had spoken with on two different occasions when shopping, was competent, friendly, and patient. When comparison shopping the price was only a $30 difference between locations. The service that they gave is very good quality and they were very caring. I schedule all my Rabbit needs there and highly recommend the Animal Hospital. more

Friendly and helpful 1/3/2011

I have been bringing my pets here for 10 years. I find the front desk to be friendly and helpful. They can be very busy in there and I've watched them multi-task with the best of them! The doctors are very nice and want what's best for our pets. Maybe their prices are a little high, but the service I get is worth it. I don't know how anyone can say the don't know their business and the staff is rude. They always seem to know who we are when we walk in the place and are so sweet to my dogs whenever I go in there. I highly recommend this hospital. more

My fiance and I adopted our dog Benny from a local rescue shelter. He unfortunately was diagnosed with a severe case of separation anxiety. He would destroy his kennel and hurt himself badly when we were away with the proper medication from Dr Culotta and the love and support from the members of the Canine Discovery Center. Benny is on his way to a happy healthy life. Attending doggy day care has allowed him to open up and to begin to play with other humans and other dogs. He has gone from never wagging his tail to one of the happiest most playful dog around. Thank you. more

Superior top of the line service 12/29/2010

I have never recieved anything other than superior top of the line service from this hospital. The Dr (with the dark past) as someone put it, is the most compassionate human being I have ever met. I have always been seen promptly and never have had to wait. It is "expensive" to take your animal to the vet - period! I have taken many animals to vets in the area and they are priced the same as all the others. IMO this is an excellent hospital to take any of your animals to as you will recieve the best of care. more
