Tots To Teens

I love tot to teens...I can't believe that someone would be so rude and stuck up to write something like..it is not true. I have beening go to tot to teens since my daughter was 3 months old and she is almost 6 now...they always have what I am looking for, at really great prices. The workers are really nice and really great to my kids....I love there new play area becuz I can put my kids in there will I shop and know that they are safe. I just want to say thank you guys for all that you do. Pros: Great prices Cons: to far from my house!!! more

After reading the reviews posted about Tots To Teens (mainly one really bad review), I felt that I should post my own. While I am sorry that the lady that gave them a bad review was so unhappy with her visit, I am also very suprised. I have been shopping at Tots To Teens for a few years now (at least once or twice a month) and I have never been disappointed in the quality, prices, selection or service from them. I've always known of them to be picky in the quality of the merchandise that they buy and as a result, they always have good & like new condition merchandise ranging from Infant (including preemie) to teen clothing, maternity clothing, toys, strollers, baby swings, play yards, just about anything you can think of or need. If there is an item that they don't carry, you can put your name on a wish list and when they get one in they will call you. I have used the wish list a few times to get hard to find resale items and I have never been anything but pleased. This is the ONLY resale shop I go to anymore. They have saved me hundreds of dollars and I have bought everything from maternity cloths & new born essentials to toddler cloths and play yards. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for great quality and a great selection at a great price. Remember, if they don't have what your looking for ask to be put on a wish list for that item; as long it's not something I'm looking for ; ) Happy shopping!!!! Nice store. Clerks are friendly and everything I have purchased has been in excellent condition. My purchases have been from mobiles to clothing and everything has worked. The clothing has no stains or tears. The prices are good for the most part and at time the prices are excellent. more

i have shoped at tots 2 teens since i was pregnant with my first kid in 06 and i think they are the best if your looking for name brand resale item's i dont agree with the one who said it looks like it came from a trailer park i have the money to go buy name brand clothes but still shop there sometimes and my kid stays very well dressed and i live in a trailer and for another i have never seen a dirty worker they are always very nice maybe it was something about you!\r well point is I TELL EVERYONE I KNOW TO SHOP TOTS 2 TEENS! Pros: very nice stuff Cons: they dont pay much for things they buy but hey you dont pay much when you buy from them. more

I buy a lot of my children's clothing at Tots to Teens and always get compliments on how well-dressed my little ones are. No one would guess that I buy them at Tots to Teens! I love the quality of merchandise, fair prices and shop there regularly. more

I have been shopping there for quite sometime. I love the changes they have made recently. The store is so open and organized and it makes it very easy to shop. The play area for the kids are awesome. It's gated so I can just toss my kids in there and shop without having to worry about them running out the door! The people have always been very friendly and helpfull when I've been in there. I did agree with some of the other postings about the prices they pay to buy things. It did seem very low. But since they have increased what they give us, I always take my stuff there first. It's probably not as much as Ebay, but at least I get a decent amount and I don't have to deal with pictures and shipping and stuff. Overall, this is an excellent store and I would recommend it to anyone! Pros: Clean, organized, good customer service, lots of parking, good selection Cons: Couldn't think of any more

I have never had a bad experience shopping at Tots to Teens. I would recommend this store to anyone. I moved to Jacksonville in October of last year and I was about 6 months pregnant at the time. I purchased everything from maternity clothes to baby swings/bouncers (all name brand). I even bought clothes for my 7 year old daughter. I spent almost $100 and got a ton of stuff. Everything was in great condition, some of it was brand new. I try to go at least twice a month, that way I won't get burnt out. I'm always able to find greats deals. That's why I love this store!!! I would have to agree with the last post regarding their purchase prices. I have sold to them numerous times over the years and each time I couldn't believe the little bit I got in return. On one occassion I dropped off around 3 baskets full of clothing and was only offered $4.00 for one baskets worth. I declined and went home and put it all on Ebay and made over $100.00. Ebay is definately the way I will continue to go for selling my kids' clothing until the pay out goes up. However, for purchasing from them, this is a great store. I have found many great deals over the years on anything from toys, maternity, newborn to little kids clothing. I haven't been in several months so I don't know if it has changed, but the last time I was in there, there were items on the shelves that would be less than satisfactory for a garage sale (which made me question why they didn't purchase items I brought in with tags still on them), however those items were few and far between. Overall, I think this is a great re-sale store and great for families with low budgets. Pros: low prices for those with low budgets, good parking, well organized Cons: too little pay out on things you bring them more

I have been going here a few years on and off. Depending on when I go I normally find clothing items. Only once did I go and find not enough selection for the gender/age I needed. I do like the kid area and appreciate the patience of the workers. I control my kids in there but I like that the staff isn't up tight about kids touching merchandise. Some places are anti kids in the store and this store isn't one of them which makes me feel less rushed when I have the kiddos with me. Everything is well organized. My only issue was the amount of cash I get when I bring items in to sell. EBay is time consuming but I do much better on there with all my brand name items. I have the mostly the best for my kids so I want a little return on what I have paid for stuff. Nobody likes feeling ripped. If the store offered a better percentage I would be more interested in selling to them but for now I just sell my own items online. Pros: Good store hours, not crowded, kid friendly Cons: Low pay out for items you bring them to sell more

I finds it funny that I am running across this now. Saturday I went into the store for only my second time. I really had a nice experience. First, I love the little area that they have set up for the kids to play in. It is so hard to look while trying to hold onto your little one! I have a 4 month old little boy. I bought 5 outfits for I believe just under $9 ! You can barely buy a new shirt for $9!!!!!! I thought the clothes were in awesome shape. They out grow clothes at this age so fast, why buy brand new ? These clothes look like they are new! I know that I will continue to go in there to shop for him. I also have a 2 year old. I did not check out their selection for his size, but plan to. I did buy him a toy that was in like new shape and priced reasonably. I also found a blanket that my son had to have! - Spongebob! When we got home I looked it up on ebay and the starting price was more than what I paid not to include the shipping that ebayers charge! I do feel however, that the staff could be a little more friendly. It was a Saturday and they were really busy, so maybe that is why I will go during the week the nest time I go. However, when I was in there they were not very friendly (except one of the ladies behind the counter) and they really were not very attentive. Overall, I think this is for sure a place that I will visit time and time again. I have been shopping here since we transfered to jax a few years ago. The staff is always helpful and the items bought are always clean, in great condition and at unbeatable prices. Pros: great products and even better prices Cons: haven't found one yet after 20+ transactions there more

What a great find! Everything in this store looks like it just came out of the box brand new! Prices are way below retail! I found brand name clothes with the tags still on them at a fraction of the cost. The store was so neat and clean I had to ask if it was really a resale/consignment store. The staff was so cheerful and helpful, too. They told me the entire store had been remodeled at the beginning of the year, I just love the bright colors and my kids love the Kid Zone in the back. Let's me shop in peace and they can play and watch a movie, everyone is happy. \r If you're trying to save money, this is the place for you. Plus, they pay really good for your stuff, better than a yard sale I think. Highly reccommended. Pros: Lots of parking, huge selection of everything, friendly service, clean store. I have shopped in several baby consignment shops and this Tots to Teens Orange Park is not what it used to be from several years back. I was told that it's under new ownership and it shows....for the worse. It looks like stuff you would see at your local trailer park yard sale. I will never go back in there again! The staff is not that interested in tending to the customers that walk in. The employees look nasty and dirty themselves. Left feeling quite disgusted. I would definitely not waste your time there. Found out that the old owner opened up her Tots to Teens out at the Beaches, although its far away, it's well worth the drive! A far cry from the Orange Park Store. more

This is a pretty new store, the parking is great as the plaza seems to have several empty retail spots. The owner seems nice, informed and friendly. Smaller store, bright and open and clean as it is new. The prices are slightly lower but at this time not a big selection of the brand names I shop for. They carry clothes, including maternity, DVDs, vhs tapes, books, shoes, strollers and bedding. This store pays cash for your items, however, the $$ amount received for selling is pretty low. They seem to sell all seasons at one time so the actual inventory appears at first glace to be better than it actually is. Pros: Nice Friendly Owner Cons: Not Enough more

Nice Items, Moderately priced for a resale shop. Mostly clothing items for tots and maternity. There wasn't a large selection for teens. Mainly more smaller sizes in baby girl and baby boy. The Store is smaller in size but still nice and clean. They buy the items from you and give you a cash price or a store credit, which is usually a bit higher. The store is new, so they don't have sale items yet. I have sold to them and I would say they are moderatly fair on selections. I feel that the person behind the counter may want to be up more on name brands. I would advise visiting. There is always ample parking, the lot is large.
