Total Pilates in the Brookside area of Tulsa is the best. Jill is a great instructor. I was a beginner just wanting to strengthen and tone muscles. It worked very well and I enjoyed it. It had been over 12 years since I belonged to any type of fitness center. In my middle-aged expanding shape, I hesitated to join anything because I didn't look fit. Funny how we think we have to already be fit to look presentable at a fitness center. Anyway, I started having occasional back pains, and heard that strengthening abdominal muscles help back problems, so finally decided to do something about it. I'm glad I did. Exercise also is a stress reliever and helps the body make more "feel good" endorphins. We have all heard that, but it really does. My opinion is that exercise is a better antidepressant than prescriptions.
