If you want the best in how to shoot a handgun, this is your guy. His years of experience provides a great pool of knowledge. Rick has the ability to provide input to the shooter to help/assist in making the visit worth the trip. Keep in mind that handling firearms is a dangerous business and there are range rules to keep EVERYONE safe. The whole key to this type of shooting experience is be SAFE and have FUN. If you are a new shooter, then go to Total Firearms and ask to talk with Rick. If you are an experienced shooter than you have a person that can help you get to be a better shooter or if you are any good, maybe joining the local Glock Shooting team that is based at Total Firearms.
I visited the Total Firearms store while the GSSF Shooting Tournament was in progress. WOW what a cool experience I got shooting at the range. The tournament consists of 3 matches (the first one was held this past weekend) followed by another match the first weekend in February and the last one will be held on the first weekend in March. Once you register you get a chance to join several other men and women shooters to test your skills against other local talent. In my course of fire I achieved a score of 450 out of a possible 500 score. What a great feeling to know that this whole process from registration to scoring your targets was done with the utmost sense of professionalism and safety that any organization could have accomplished. My hat is off the many volunteers that worked both Sat and Sun at this weeks shoot to help make this one of the best every events. I can't wait for the next Match, I will be practicing more to get a better score in February. I may even win the new Glock 19 that will be given away! Think about getting involved and making your shooting skills sharper and have a world of fun at the same time at Total Firearms.
