A River and Trail Run Through It
In addition to great wildflower viewing opps, you can see stands of giant virgin bald cypresses and pines, river otters, bald eagles, bobcats, turkeys and deer. This is an important wetland area for the St. Johns River. Nineteen miles of the river provide marshes and open water areas, attractive to scads of wading birds and migrating waterfowl. The Florida Trail also traverses Tosohatchee.
