Tortuga's is located in a quaint old house off the main road through Longmont and you would probably never find it unless someone told you about it. Nevertheless it is one of the best seafood restaurants I have found in Colorado. The owners are originally from Florida and their dishes are obviously caribbean influenced. The shrimp ceviche is a great starter, as are the lobster fritters. Wash them down with Tortuga's signature Tortini! The mojo seasoned fish of the day is always a good bet. The grouper, when they have it, can't be beat! Top it all off with a tasty slice of key lime pie (they serve the authentic version, not with the electric green filling you sometimes see elsewhere)! But they don't take reservations and are quite busy on the weekends, so plan accordingly.
Pros: Fresh Seafood, Good Cocktails
Cons: , Can be Crowded
