Mixed reviews, just completed my first and maybe last visit to Torreon. Nice ambiance, but a ""booth"" is really a table with half of its seats against the wall. Server was very good. Chips were excellent and warm, the salsa was good. I ordered a margarita, ""Our fish bowl margarita (house blend) is good"" Yuk! It tasted odd, if not weird. And, with an after burn on the tongue. I'll have a regular one, please."" A ""fish bowl"" of ice with a little liquid in it arrived. It tasted like a regular margarita. Ok. I ordered the chicken fajita. My companion, two beef enchiladas, ""no onions"". The enchiladas were described to me as ""basic"". When asked, ""good, bad or indifferent""? She replied ""indifferent"". The fajita tasted good, but was more or less, middle of the road as far as fajitas go. The chicken, although not completely ""dry"", was not moist either. The big shock came when the check arrived. Food prices were reasonable, but they charged $18.00 for 2 margaritas! ""You had top shelf"". I never requested ""top shelf"", and there was absolutely nothing special about the two glasses loaded with ice and very little fluid, until some ice melted, that I received. They made no effort to reconsider. So, as I told the hostess, food was ok, but I'll not be back for $9 margaritas.
