My friend and I were headed to a movie in Alhambra, and we were craving Sushi, but we wanted to go someplace close to the theater. I haven't spent any time in Alhambra, so I actually found Toros on citysearch. The few reviews looked good, so we thought we would give it a try. The place is a little bit small, very cozy and intimate. We were seated promptly and our server immediately took our drink order. About 2 minutes later, someone else came by to make sure drinks were taken care of. When we had decided on our orders, our server literally came over as soon as he saw us close our menus. We ordered 3 specialty rolls, and rice. The rolls came out one at a time, like a 3 course meal. As soon as we had finished the first, the second came out. The sushi was delicious! Amazingly fresh, the rolls were hand crafted to perfection and the combinations of flavors were tantalizing. We were full by the second roll, so we ended up taking the third to go. Our rice, water, and green tea were refilled promptly without any hassle, or even having been requested. After we received the check, we asked another server where we could find a pinkberry type place. She gave us perfect directions to a place less than a mile away. This place was fantastic! I Highly recommend it! ... I never go to Alhambra, but I would make a special trip just to go back to Toros!
