Extreemly rude manager 3/5/2008

I've eaten at Torino's a couple of time and the food has always been ok with ok prices. No real complaints, average and not horrible. The service has been decent too. I decided to make my wedding rehearsal dinner there simply because of it being close to our chapel. They have a party room and I've been to a party there once before so I figured it would work ok. I talked with an employee about 3 and a half months ahead of time about getting reservations for the dinner. They took my information and said it was set. I called a month in advance just to confirm everything and to ask a question about the menu. The girl I talked with didn't know the answer to my question so she put a manager on. I kindly and simply asked him my question and then he got really rude. He never answered my question but instead cut me off and said that I couldn't have the dinner there. I tried to explain to him that I had reservations 3 months in advance but never got that out as he kept cutting me off! I couldn't believe that a manager would treat me so disrespectfully, especially when I was going to bring him extra business in one night. I didn't have to have my dinner there and obviously will not. Because of such rude management I will never eat there again. I normally try to be understanding in the situation but how he treated me was uncalled for. more

good food 11/28/2005

I went to Torino's for dinner and I was pleasantly surprised. The food was quite good and the prices were excellent. I think I would have liked to have seen a larger variety on their menu. As good as the food was, the selection was limited I think. Our server was very pleasant and we were served almost immediately. They also were helpful when I ordered something not on the menu. I don't know if they do that for everything but they were very good about making me something different. I would definitely go back to eat there again. more

Torino's Greek & Italian Restaurant 10/23/2005

The atmosphere is great. There is an outdoor scene painted on the wall. The best gyros platter around. There is a larger table for big parties. The tea tastes terrible but they also have a bar. The sandwiches are pricey but the Torino sub is worth it. It has some kind of oil on it that makes it so good. They have pizza and lasagna. You can order the lasagna with or without mushrooms and meatballs. They often have specials posted outside on their large sign. The parking is excellent and there are two entrances. The wait time is average. The servers are pleasant. more
