Torero's Mexican Restaurant

Excellent white queso dip. It was JUST spicy enough and really delicious. The carnitas burrito was GIANT and pretty good. The taquitos and tacos rancheros very VERY bland and soggy. A big disappointment. Good Mexican food is all about flavor and texture--and this had neither. And at $50 with tip and delivery fee for THAT, I wouldn't order again. more

Went here looking for a Mexican place to eat and was pleased with the service and food. The margaritas and cervzas were quite tasty. Their regular salsa is not hot and very mild, wish I would of known about their verde salsa and will have to ask for that next time. The food was served prompt and warm, very tasty and will be back for more! There are two tables outside on the patio which was nice. more

We've lived in S FL for 3 years and have been in search of a good Mexican place. With Torero's, we have found it. Nothing fancy, and that's just what we want. We drive 15 minutes, past hundreds of places to eat, to go here. It's great value for the $, the service is great, and the pitcher of Cuervo margaritas is a steal! The enchiladas are spot on. They offer a variety of sauces for the top so it can be different, but excellent, every time. more

OMG!! AWESOME!! Coming from California where there's a great Mexican cuisine influence and where I was used to excellent Mexican restaurants this Toreros is awesome and Francisco the waiter is simply amazing .. friendly, polite, courteous and not overbearing! Such a nice guy besides the food being very tasty, flavorful and fresh! I will definitely go back again!! more

The chicken is great - love prettymuch everything on their menu (I always order chicken filling). Their rice is a little mushy but still good and everything else is fabulous. The service can sometimes be painfully slow, even when the restaurant isn't busy. If you have time - sit, relax, eat some chips and salsa. If you're in a hurry - order it to go - it'll be ready in less than ten minutes - if you're at a table, be prepared to wait 20+ minutes for your food. more

Great service , margaritas good, huge menu and huge portions. good chips and salsa.. ask for the spicy green salsa if you can handle it. Guacamole very good. Carmie Asada and chille Relleno great. Thought we would travel a little for a change of pace. Food, was good. Alcohol drinks were all mixer no alcohol. I ordered margarita on the rocks, wife ordered it frozen both were full of mixer and a hint of alcohol. If your going to charge me....give it to me thats not asking for much. Service was ehhhhh. We had to wave over our waiter anytime we needed something. High ceilings, no carpet, which means it's loud in there. Was not real busy but very loud, voices carry. \r The directions on the website are wrong, I wrote the owner twice and no answer. Do not get off on Exit 57 or you will be further south than you need to be. I dont remember which number it is, just Exit "Palm Beach Lakes Blvd", go west to light at Village Blvd make right stay in left lane you will see a Publix shopping center on your left turn in there. more

We had dinner at Torero's over the weekend. Our waiter was rude, and got visibly upset when we requested a different menu item after taking a bite of the spinach enchilada and and finding out that it did not taste good. We requested to receive the cheese enchilada instead. He then took the plate of the spinach enchiladas to the kitchen and we heard him slam the plate into the garbage. 10 minutes later he brought out the new entree and informed us that we would be charged extra if there is a problem with it. Then he ignored us the entire time we dined after that and did not offer us any refills on our drinks. When he brought us our check, we saw that we were charged a fee for the other entree that he returned to the kitchen. I would not recommend anyone dine here. Very poor customer service. more

Some of the best Mexican cuisine around. Prices are also low with huge full platter portions. Service is extremely fast and your meal comes out in minutes. The staff is always friendly and you will never wait on a refill. Highly recommend! more
