I've been frequenting the Topps scene for years. It is a cozy, dark, smoky, biker-type bar with a mostly older crowd (35-50 year olds). I have to say that it is kind of a hole in the wall, but that's what I love about it. It's just a great place to chill out and drink cold beer, watch sports on one of the many televisions, and even play a game of pool on one of several pool tables. They have different things going on depending on what day of the week it is. Mainly karaoke (mostly country) and trivia (tougher than you would expect).
I didn't even mention the food. Great burgers, chicken fingers, salad (bar food stuff) and excellent hot wings. I know that everyone has different tastes, but for me, their wings are the best anywhere around!!! I've tried hooters and taco mac's, not to mention many others, but they don't hold a candle to Topps' in my humble opinion. NO JOKE. They kind of have a Texas Pete's type twang to them which I love.
Go to Topps and sit back and relax. If for no other reason, go to Topps and try the hot wings. Your mouth will thank you!
Jan. 2008 update - Topps now serves liquor!!!!
