this place looked perfect for fresh seafood on the bay but it wasn't. the irony is that the place seemed filled with locals, and had a specials sheet which one would assume was fresh. maybe we just picked the wrong thing because we saw a guy filetting a salmon outside the restaurant. i ordered the cioppino, and if those were fresh shrimp in there, then jesus stike me dead now. (i've bought similar at costco.) my partner had the clam linguine with over cooked pasta in a watery, bland sauce with flecks of jarred garlic and parsley in it. major bummer. we ordered bbq oysters to start, which might have been fresh but it was hard to taste their flavor under all that sugary sauce. our food was somewhat unceremoniously dumped on our dirty table at the same time along with some stale sour dough bread. i had high hopes for this place and maybe i just caught them on an off night.
Pros: they have liquor so you can drown your disappointment
Cons: food and service
