Hostage situation. We should have just walked out. 1/4/2011

I cannot express my disappointment in Tony and Tina’s Wedding. My family and I have been to Vegas 10+ times and actively seek out dinner shows. This has been the WORST show we have ever seen. It was a complete waste of my evening. We felt like we were in a hostage situation, and too polite to just walk out. My family and I bought VIP tickets to Tony and Tina’s Wedding in Vegas at the V Theatre. Plot: We were literally given the BEST VIP seats in the house. We were right in the middle of the action… and we had NO IDEA what was going on. No plot at all. Pretty much all the characters were drunk and angry about something. But what were they angry about??? No idea. One character sat down briefly at our table and said something about how her BF didn’t deserve her, but didn’t expand on it. I THINK each character may have had some minor personal story, but hearing a one-line snipit does not a plot make. Characters: All the characters acted (or were) drunk. They just jumped around like a bunch of hooligans. I have been to tamer Frat parties. Food: The meal was poor and the ‘wedding cake’ was a complete joke. The portions were small. Considering I’m a 4ft 11 average-build Asian girl, I could have eaten double what they served. Location/seating: The location was horrible. It was some dark upstairs room with a tiny dance floor. When all the cast members stood on the dance floor, there was no room for anyone else. We sat in the best seats in the house, but we couldn’t see what was going on (if there was anything going on). The rest of the seating was even worse. If you were not a VIP, I can’t imagine you saw anything. Audience Involvement: Weak and borderline offensive. The ONLY way that the audience was asked to get involved was by dancing (and a little singing). The cast tried to encourage us to dance (even though there’s no room on the dance floor). When we refused, they just completely gave up on us and ignored us for the rest of the evening. Other: At the pre-event VIP gathering, we gathered to take our photo. The cast member/photographer took one look at us, and asked another cast member to confirm that we were VIPs. Although I don’t take much offense to the action, it was still inappropriate and rude. Overall: Hostage situation. We should have just walked out. more

Definately worth checking out, great show, fun time, good food 3/3/2009

So we went to this Tony N Tinas wedding and it was money well spent. We had a coupon from one of the local rags so for the price of any other show we got a great show, great dinner, great music, and we did the chicken dance!!! Anytime guests come into town, this show will be at the top of my list. Highly recommend! more

I love it 3/1/2009

My wife and I and another couple bought tickets to Tony and Tina's wedding while it was still at the Rio, but found out it had moved to Planet Hollywood which was fine, my wife never liked the Rio anyway. So we get to the show and immediately feel like we've entered the twilight zone of Italian Weddings - the actors and characters were interacting with us even before we entered the theater. You almost feel like you're in character yourself as the show progresses and people, especially at our table, were really into the whole vibe. I've read some of the bad reviews and I have to say that it's an interactive show and you get out of it what you want to. I love it, the food was great, the air conditioning was cold, and the music and dancing was hot hot hot. I give it 5 out of 5 stars. more

What a Waste 1/9/2009

If I could give this show less than one star I would. It was a waste, a waste of time, a good outfit, a night I could of been doing something else (anything else), and money. If you had a few martinis.... no I take that back if you had had a pitcher of martini's then maybe it would be slightly amusing. It is hands down the most unprofessional show I have ever seen. I have been to high school plays that were better done than this. There is no plot, all of the ""acting"" takes place at various tables so you have no idea what is going on, on the other side of the room. And after a while you stop even caring what is going on entirely. The actors are vulgar and think that tacky dance moves and grinding up on the guests is funny. That is the only trick they have up there sleeves, and they use it again and again and again. The brides maid has an okay voice, and the groom is a decent actor but everyone else is honestly pathetic. The stand out of the whole show is the band. For $90 you do not get your money's worth. It's like being at a real wedding, everyone is just waiting for it to be over. The food is soggy and over done. There is a salad, some bread and 3 pasta dishes that are all equally inedible. My overall suggestion is to spend your money somewhere else. Pros: Parking is close to where the show is. Cons: Tacky, Unprofessional, Vulgar more

Definitely don't recommend!!! 12/19/2008

Some people ""what is the best show in vegas?"" I say its hard to say maybe Phantom, Jersey Boys...But if you ask me the worse show in vegas or ever made, I definitely say Tony n Tina's Wedding without a doubt. I mean let me explain and break it down for you. I don't want anyone else having to waste money and time on this event unless it suits you. \r Location: appears to be outside the hotel, some garage like building, it was snowing that day so that made it very cold, to bad if you bring a dress :(\r Food: terrible, don't know why they call it italian buffet, there were 2 salads to choose from, bread, 3 pasta dishes. Thats it!!! Not to mention it tasted bad. The cake for dessert at the end was very dry. There is alcohol available and I recommend you drink a lot of it otherwise this show wouldn't be funny at all. \r Music and dancing: music was the only part that was okay. Dancing was bad because the floor was small so you feel overcrowded. There were no slow song so no slow dancing. You only have about 4 short opportunities to go up and dance. \r comedy: they say save the best for last, but in this case, I saved the worse for last. I classify this as comedy by using a lot of the f word and cussing. If you take out all the bad words, you wouldn't be able to tell this was even a comedy. One scene the girl was yelling at her man saying ""you aren't f...in coming home tonite"" and the guy answer ""fine, I will f...in say here all week."" And another they stick middle fingers at each other and the cameraman takes a picture saying ""about time her fatas. gets married"" and she wasn't even fat. I mean I guess those are suppose to be funny because they use the f word. \r Storyline: All it is is some italians getting drunk and acting radiculous as a result. I thought maybe there would be a story like some ex-boyfriend coming to the wedding to cause trouble and at the end the bridge and groom reconcile. Nope its some random story it seems. \r Cons: everything more

Oh What a Night!! 5/16/2008

OMG...how can anyone not like this show? My husband and I went with another couple and laughed our butts off!! We had so much fun, that I recommended it to my office mates for an outting in NYC. I'm not sure why the reviews are so vastly different, but basically this show is for anyone who wants to have fun and get involved! Oh...and we also did VIP tix...it included upfront seating and UNLIMITED champagne....NICE in Las Vegas~\r :)\r Have fun and tell Tony I said hi!\r Pros: Actors staye in character Cons: hard to find more

would be 3 star but the cost drops it to 2 5/10/2008

I was looking or more of a show in my dinner show.\r we also paid the extra money for the VIP huge mistake absolutly no perks in the VIP table.\r the drinks were crazy expensive and the food was average buffet food at best.\r In the end you are paying to go to a white trash wedding and instead of giving a wedding gift to someone you know, you are giving twice the cash to really bad actors. \r spend the money on a differant show. more

Absolutely amazed - and not in the good way.... 3/9/2008

This show blew me away. I?ve been to many, many Vegas shows in my time ? but none have ever left me staring in disbelief at my ticket stub and clutching my wounded wallet like this. The show essentially amounts to a poorly acted wedding scene held together with a mediocre lounge band that wouldn?t be out of place at the Circus Circus graveyard shift. Couple that with cheap, nasty bulk Italian buffet (which, by the way, the show pretty much stops for the dinner part), I was left wondering when the show was going to get good. Problem was, I was still wondering that when everyone was getting up to leave? To their credit, the theme was ?cheesy wedding? ? maybe the cheesy food, cheesy band and cheesy acting were all part of the act ? but this was barely entertainment. Find a restaurant with a band in the corner ? you?ll have a much better time. Oh ? did I mention we had the VIP tickets? BIG ripoff. Slightly better seat (although they had overbooked our table), first up to the buffet, and extra (poor quality) champagne ? for an extra $50 each. No other goodies in that package ? no matter what they tell you. In summary ? you can do better in Vegas ? MUCH better. more

The best show in Vegas! 12/10/2007

I've seen sooooooooo many shows in Vegas ~ but nothing compares to Tony n' Tina's Wedding! There's a great band to dance to, a cast of hilarious characters to interact with and the buffet dinner was awesome. I personally love the priest was ""got down"" on the dance floor and my friend had a lot of laughs with one of the groomsmen. I don't want to give away too much, but as soon as you walk into the ""showroom"" the music's playing, the characters start interacting...and the hilarity ensues!! A wonderful night out for anyone, and a great value too. :) more

Funny and Entertaining! 2/7/2007

Tony N Tina's Wedding was a hysterical dinner show, where the entire audience is part of the show. It is as if you were at a true, Italian wedding. Everyone from the bride and groom, the wedding party, the priest and many others are all so amazingly funny. The band and the DJ are very enertaining...they have everyone dancing, eating and having a great time. A must see if you are coming to Vegas! more

Good times!!! Highly Recommend! 1/11/2007

My friend recently had her Bacholorette party at this show, and we had a blast!! \r It was perfect because they introduced her in the show, and we never laughed, danced\r and enjoyed ourselves at any other show as much as we had at this one. Plus the food was good...\r Highly recommend!! Good times!! more
