I am very disappointed with my fried hair and could not even get a manager on the phone. With this price quality should be very high, however the curl that I paid an extra five dollars for (no one told me it was extra) was not pretty so I put my hair in a pony tail and later realized that they had totally fried the ends of my bangs with their careless coloring job. Upset is an understatement, especially when I basically paid them to ruin my hair. Please do not go here, the Flower Mound area has so many actual quality salons to give your business to instead. more

I was referred to this salon from a friend at work. I have always complained that no one can cut my hair because it is so curly and frizzy. When I came in I spoke with Tony and in the end I was very satisfied because my hair was thinned out and it looked great also, I did not walk out with a big fuzz ball of hair :). more

I moved to Dallas from NY and it took me 2 years to find Tony Cao's Salon. O.M.G. I love it. Tony is such a professional and sometimes it may get hectic at the salon, but you will be happy when you leave. more

Bad: Rude, filthy, didn't care what I wanted, just did the generic highlights that I saw 2 other girls leave with -ash blonde and brown stripes, not "honey blonde natural looking "and he cut super short layers into my long hair leaving it very thin on bottom. Don't expect any friendly chatting or input on what you want done to your hair, just expect to pay a lot of money on a sub par job.. more

So I tried to save money by using one of those box colors you buy at the supermarket. Worst idea ever. I ended up going to 3 salons to fix it. Then finally my friend told me to see Tony Chao. He smiled and told me he could fix it. Boy! Did he ever come through! I just want to thank Tony and his staff. awesome awesome awesome!!! more

We are very sorry that you did not have a good time at Tony Cao Salon on the Sunday April 3, 2011.. But your comments are not correct.. Let us clear up what happen that day. First, keep in mind this was Sunday the day we don't open. We opened as a favor to you as a loyal customer. Second, there was only supposed to be you and a "few people". We ended up with a total of 9 women and 1 man. Of course we were understaff to handle that kind of capacity. You had seven updo and style for the ladies regular price $75 per person we charge you $350 ($50 per person). One woman hair cut $45. One person had highlight, haircut $140, eyebrow wax $15. One man hair cut $25. Two ladies got a makeover $55 each (total $110). That concludes all service that was given.. Now come all the products that was purchase: two eyelashes $15 each, $35 designer headband, $45 butterfly hairclip, $50 for 2 crystal shoe clips, $69 sterling silver bracelet, two $40 black crystal bracelet (total $80). Total for all service and merchandise was $1004.50. You had a store credit of $212.33. So the final total came out to $792.17. Tip was $100. We usally let comments like this go because we believe that the good we do overall will alway out weight the bad. Bottom line is we came in on our day off to show our appreciation for our loyal customer. Another thing that you don't know is a family member had a baby that day.. which was second to our customer. Tony had a serious stomach flu and still tried to keep it together to make sure everybody needs were taken care of. The amount of money that was generated that day way not that important. We were there to service our customer. The cost overall was not that much for the service and merchandise on a Sunday(Dayoff). If you had a problem with what we did tell us directly.. We show you the respect and appreciation by come out a day that we could have been spending with a new family member. I think it would only be right if you show us the same. The owner of this salon Trini is pushy, greedy, dishonest, cares nothing for her clients or how they would like their hair. Totally ruined my wedding day with unfulfilled promises. They talk you into paying for a $25 treatment and tell you that you will get two free products "special today" but when you go to pay for the services you find out you are buying $70-$120 worth of products and receiving the $25 treatment free and that you didn't understand. They book other appointments on top of your appointment time and leave you sitting in the chair with wet or partially finished hair so that you have a hard time walking out on them when you are "half finished". You can make an appointment with Tony the owner and six other people will work on your hair and Tony will stop by to give you a quick cut that takes about 5 seconds. Most of the employees are family but like for you to think differently. They will ask you to tip them in cash and then when you do the person at the front desk tells Tony and makes you feel like you have done something dishonest by merely giving someone a tip for services. If you purchase any of the many other products such as shoes, jewelry, hair clips, etc. and are not satisfied when they fall apart the next day forget getting your money back. The only type of refund you will ever get is for more products and can not be used for services. But of course when you purchase the products they tell you if you don't like it just bring it back. VERY UNTRUE. If you like dishonest pushy people then this salon is for you. They are way overpriced and you can go buy the same products for about half the cost of their shop price if you look somewhere else. The all speak another language and do not speak to each other in english where you can understand what they are talking about. I will never return to this shop and would not recommend it to anyone that I know. You are better off to go to Quick-Cuts or anywhere in the world other than this salon. I swear its harder to find a stylist who is good than a surgeon these days! I live in TX and have family in CA. Now I don't have to fly to California to get my hair done anymore! Thanks to Tony :) more

Girls from my work told me about a salon which does a great job on color and that they sold really great boutique type stuff. I bought these really nice sandals! During the time my hair was being processed I was able to look around at all the nice stuff they have inside. Not to mention the whole staff, they were so professional and courteous. I really enjoyed my experience here. They aren't cheap but they are good! more

Disappointed would be how I would describe my cut and color. Hated the cut (what there was to it) - I ended up having wings for bangs. And they did an all over highlight which damaged the underside of my hair - now I get a huge rat on the underside where there is a big streak of color - who sees that color? no one unless you plan to wear your hair up. I have had many different stylists and they have suggested that you not do that for just that reason. Also they pushed product on me which I was told had protein in it (cause I asked if it did) which it did not. more

the salon is beautiful & having the big screen tvs help pass the time. They do a beautiful job on my hair. I have been all over Flower Mound & Lewisville looking for a hairdresser that makes me happy. With Tony & his assistants I have found it.
