Don't do business with this company 8/18/2010

The owner of this company, Jorge Paiva is dishonest! He and his side kick came to my home on a service call for my 6 yr. old Kitchen Aid refrigerator. He told me that my compressor was bad and that it would be $650 to replace it. Without the compressor, my $2000 refrigerator is worthless. I told him I had to check with my husband and that I would get back to him. He then told me I owed him $99 for his 10 minutes of time he took to "diagnose" my fridge. more

If you own a Sub-zero, Wolf or Scottsman refrigerator Tom's Appliance Service has technicians trained to specifically service these appliances. It is good to know that they specialize in servicing just those brands. The technicians are on time, knowledgeable and do a great job. They provided a reasonable quote for our anual service maintenance. They work only on weekdays Mon-Fri, though. more

Tom's Appliance Service was established in Los Gatos in the 1960s by Tom Hughey who operated it until his retirement. In 1999 Jorge Paiva took over ownership. He and his team continue to provide excellent appliance service throughout Santa Clara County and carry on the tradition of quality for which Tom's Appliance Service is known.

    For the past ten years, Tom's Appliance Service has specialized in the repair of only the best quality brands such as: Sub-zero, Wolf and Scotsman. They provide service for most major brands. In fact, Tom's Appliance Service is one of the few appliance repair companies in the Santa Clara Valley that is factory-authorized for these manufacturers' warranty repairs. The Tom's Appliance Service people are actually trained at the Sub-Zero and Wolf manufacturing facilities in Madison, Wisconsin.
