The Tomato Place was recommended to us by the Chamber of Commerce as a really nice Daughter/Dad business with great food - boy, were they right! My wife and I went there to try out the fresh-squezed lemonade (do! it's great!) and stayed for lunch. The food is excellent - fresh, high-standard - and Plenty of it! The Po Boy I had was stacked, had half a salad on it to bbot, and the marinated salad was delicious. Can't say enough for these folk. The Tomato Place is a little out of town, but just a few minutes. And eating in an open windowed Cajun-style shack (complete with Shoo-fly bottles that WORK at keeping the insects OUT!) is just great! GO THERE!!
Pros: Great Food; Funky-fresh ambiance; Nice folks!
Cons: Nothing - really!
