Well let me start off by saying Cedarburg, so far was a great venture everything was going well we had just left the winery having a great time and decided that we where going to ...

very rude! 1/31/2011

The guy behind the bar who mentioned he was the owner of this place, was incredibly RUDE! The pizza was actually OK, however the sauce was way too acidic. The place is an actual dive, I'm not interested in gpoing back there. When in Cedarburg, try Romano's, their pizza is excellent and they treat you well. more

Average food, RUDE idiots working there 12/1/2010

The food is ok. Totally not worth the abuse at the hands of their ignorant staff. No table service? So what. Assho*e behind the bar. Who needs that? more

Great Place, Great Pizza 9/20/2009

Tomaso's is what it is--a small town bar and restaurant catering to the locals. It's apparently not for everyone judging from the plethora of negative comments. It's crowded, noisy and there is no table service. It's part of the atmosphere and the rough charm of the place. My wife and I have been several times and have always found the pizza to be very good--in fact the best around these parts. We have not found any of the staff to be rude--a little rough around the edges perhaps--but hey this ain't Bartolatta's. If you like this kinda joint, where you sit next to strangers, strike up interesting conversations and enjoy good honest pizza, this place is for you. If you are looking for personalized service in a more subdued setting go somewhere else. Pros: Food, atmosphere Cons: A little pricey but worth it. more

Awesome! 4/10/2009

I have been going to Tomaso's ever since I was little and I have enjoyed myself every time. I see no problem with walking up to the bar to place your order and get your own food, there is no room for servers to walk around anyways. I personally love the atmosphere, it gives you that small town feeling that most people love (especially if you are from a small town like Cedarburg) I crave Tomaso's deep dish pizza, it is truly a delicacy! They also have a location in Mequon that claims to have the same recipe but for some reason it doesn't quite match up, must be the water. If you want more room to eat, go to the Mequon location. This place will NEVER go out of business. The employees aren't rude, they are just busy. Ignore the bad reviews and try it for yourself. Pros: Food, atmosphere, food Cons: Long wait on busy nights more

It has always been below average 4/4/2009

Not only is every correct about them being extremely rude, they have been like that for the 15 years I have gone there, which has been maybe once a year. You know, its a night when your thinking what to eat, and then you think you will alway give them one more chance, because something has changed. WRONG AGAIN, nothing ever changes there. Rude Rude, and guess what? More Rude! And the last thing I ate there, was an Italian Sausage Sandwich, and guess what? It was way under cooked. Just the way we all like to eat our pork sausage. If you go here, remember to ask your stomach one question. Do you feel like spending the better part of your Saturday night in the bathroom. There you have it! more

Example: great place for good bread 3/20/2009

Well let me start off by saying Cedarburg, so far was a great venture everything was going well we had just left the winery having a great time and decided that we where going to grab some lunch. We looked around and saw a place down the street called Tomaso's so we walked in. We walked in and sat down after the bartender said pick a booth anywhere is fine and began to look the menu over. it was about 10 minutes after we walked in that we realized that nobody has been to are table yet to take are order so I walked up to the bar , where I saw the only visible employee and ask him if we order here and he said so eloquently ""yes you order here and if you would have looked on the front of the menu you would have been able to follow the directions. So I walked back to my table then in a little bit of displeasure and began to look over the order. Iet me start by saying I was very livid to say the least and that was not the end of it even when ordering I was corrected by the bartender on the way I ordered because one of the people I was with ordered a salad and evidently most people ask for there salad to be up first obviously and he forgot to let add that, that person is only getting a salad so bring out the whole order at the same time for everybody. Oh yeah and after 20 min the food was up, we where told that, Shouting from the bar ,""SIR your pizza is ready"", so we had to go up and pick it off the bar. So I did then I needed silverware so I had to get that to for myself. Wow lots of class people good lord, what a joke. After all of this I will say that the pizza was good but not great and that if you want people to come in to your restaurant or Bar and have a nice experience that you might want to treat them like you give a damn. You don't deserve my respect. End Rant Pros: The Winery is Nearby Cons: To many to list more

Not worth the price and rude staff 2/25/2009

I think it was the owner working the night I went on 2/24/09 (wore a bracelet and gold chain and shorts and sneakers). He was so unfriendly and then spoke so loudly about how he hated our president I felt uncomfortable. The pizza was not worth the price I paid at all. Almost $30 for one pizza with very few toppings given. No wait staff you have to get it yourself and he just yells ""pizza"" and you have to guess if it's yours or not and go get it. Takes a long time to cook as well and doesn't taste that great at all. The area is great though. Pros: Location Cons: Food, price, staff more

Don't Bother-Save your Dough! 12/13/2008

All the hype is definately not true! The pizza is very average and the employees are RUDE! Hard to get a seat and takes one hour to get a lousy pizza that is way over priced. It comes from the top down and the owners could not care less how their costomers are treated. Save yourself the dough! Pros: can't think of any Cons: Everything about it more

Below Average 3/8/2005

Took 45 minutes to get food after waiting 15 minutes for our waitress. When the pizza arrived it was cold and dry. No flavor and soggy. We were very disapointed. For their prices you would expect better. Pros: Good location Cons: Very poor food, expensive, slow service more

It's In Sauce & Service 5/13/2004

Tomaso's has the BEST sauce, toppings, and overall pizza in the continent... Their pizza's are a delicacy! Great service and staff, atmosphere is small and gives ya a down home feeling that you're among friends :) Pros: Worth expense, Great location, Friendly atmosphere Cons: , Limited seating more
