Tom Milner Plumbing

Tom Milner was hired to install a new pump at my office. Instead of installing our new pump on the floor where the old one was, he built a flimsy shelf above our pressure tank. When I saw the work I was floored - a 12 year old would have done a better job. Sure enough, sometime after business hours a few days later the pump ripped itself off of the shelf, the plumbing broke, and water spewed from the pump. My entire office was flooded. When my secretary called Mr. Milner he yelled at her immediately saying that it wasn't his fault. He came out and repaired his work, putting the pump on the floor where it belonged. He showed no remorse for the damage and loss to our business and did nothing to help clean up. When we filed a claim with his insurance company he stalled for months, refusing to sign the necessary paperwork. Hi repair was still shoddy, and the pump jumped and twisted every time it turned on. Yesterday we noticed that sparks were shooting out of it and called a different plumber. The new plumber immediately asked - ""Was the person who did this named Tom?"". I had a leak in the garage where I have my washer, he said that he would only be able to tell me if he cut open the dry wall, but he would not fix it after the repairs, I did agreed, however instead of fixing the leak in the garage, he goes on to tell me that I may have a problem elsewhere and that since he had not installed all the original waterpipes, he would have to rip open my kitchen to locate the leak, and then probably my bathroom as well, I did not understand why he would want to rip open the bathroom when I did not even complain about any problems with my bathrooms, he ripped open behind my kitchen sink and could not find any leaks, he loves to rip open everything without fixing it.. he does not realize that it is other poeples hard earned money and tearing appart bathrooms and kitchen and not fixing it behind is an added expense... luckily I did not ask him to continue and I called another much less qualified handyman who not only fixed my leak but repaired whatever Milner had left broken. Mr Milner does not know what he is doing and tearing down bathrooms and kitchens seems to be his speciality. more

I had been the victim of a burst water softener bead container; tiny plastic beads had spread throughout the house and clogged nearly all my faucets and outlets. Mr. Milner installed a tankless water heater and a toilet in my home. He purchased the items and charged me reasonable prices for them and their installations. Each time he came to my home he arrived on time, completed the installations in a timely manner, and cleaned up the work area before leaving.
