Tom Madsen did a renovation for a small addition that turned out good. Tom dealt with the situation going on and he was very proactive in making sure everything was taken care of. We hired Tom Madsen to do a complete renovation of our home, which involved removing the second level, putting a new second level on, and adding onto the first level. It was a complete renovation that included residing and a new foundation. Every aspect of the project went extremely smoothly. It was very professionally done. All of the subcontractors were excellent. We did not have a single problem with anybody who worked on the property. They were very clean. We did the project over the course of a winter that was very snowy and cold. No one ever complained; they just kept coming to work every day. We are now two years into our new home and it's still wonderful. In the last two to three years since Tom worked for us, I've recommended him to several other people. Not only were we thrilled to move back into our home at the time it was done, but it still remains exactly what we asked for. We have three small children who were all under the age of four when the work was being done. Tom and his entire crew were absolutely entertaining as well as kind and considerate of them. We didn't live here during the project, but we were around a lot. They still refer to him with high regard. He's "Mr. Tom" and they still remember all the names of the subcontractors and guys that worked here. As they grow older, that's a nice memory to have. more

I knew Tom Madsen through someone else. I didn't know he was a contractor or anything. When I saw his name listed as one, though, I put him in front of all the other bids that I got for roofing. I received a favorable bid from Madsen. It wasn't the best or the worst, but he was able to clean everything up completely in one day. I was having another roof replaced in Massachusetts at the same time, and that company was nowhere near as neat and clean when they were doing the work. more

If you are ever thinking of adding on big or small....Tom Maden LLC is your man. We had an addition added on to our home which consisted of adding a 1 1/2 Car Garage, tearing down a Sunroom to make a Great Room, and extending the workshop below the Sunroom to match the size of the Great Room. Tom said it would take about 3 months. and in 3 months we were done.......All I have to say about Tom and his crew is that they are THE BEST. His crew is friendly, did'nt mind all the questions we had, were more than accomodating, and they cleaned up everything everyday. The Sub contractors are just as friendly and accomodating. When we had questions about the job, or we wanted something changed or added, he took care of it with in 24 hours. Tom was there everyday, either on the job or stopping by in the evening to look over what was done......I highly recommend Tom and his crew to anyone. We would be proud to show anyone our new addition if they were in question about hiring Tom. Tom and his crew installed all new windows at my house including a bay window and a sliding patio door. They accommodated my hectic schedule which is greatly appreciated. They are VERY clean, did not leave any mess behind at all. They are nice and friendly. The team goes above and beyond. They let us know that our door was not installed properly when the home was built 20 years ago, showed us all the details & then did the repairs BETTER than basic. I could go on about other ways Tom helped us... but just know we are hiring him again for multiple other projects! more

Tom Madsen and crew are always here when I needed them. I was in another state when some trees feel on my house. I called Tom and he took care of everything! Last time two trees fell on my house while I was at home watching T.V. around 10:30 P.M. We called him (sorry it was late Tom) and the next day the work was started! Tom Madsen's company did some work for me last year. I know he's one of the people in the county that I can trust. He's been around for a while and does good work. This year, we hired him back to redo the deco-pour and columns. It turned out very well! He's definitely on our list for the deck when it's time. more

Tom Madesen worked on our roof, gutters, and chimney cap. We've also used them in the past to replace windows. They did a great job. The workers were very good and easy to work with. I'm 100% satisfied with the result. I'd recommend them for home improvement without reservation. more

Tom Madsen worked on a vacation cabin of ours that was damaged by a storm in 2011. A month before hurricane Irene, there was a wind storm. One of the things that complicated the rebuild was that the storm caused a lot of damage in the area Tom Madesn works so we had a delay in starting with the project. By that time, winter had kicked in and it gets cold up here in Vernon, New Jersey. They had to work against the cold and we couldn't be there for the rebuild so we corresponded over the phone and email. We eventually went out there to look at it and they really did an terrific job. Our neighbors even let us know that they worked over Thanksgiving weekend to finish up replacing the roof. They also cleaned up every bit of debris that was there. Some minor problems came up after but they addressed them immediately and even contacted the manufacturer for the door that we were having problems with. They really did a beautiful job. Tom Madsen did some roof work and everything turned out great. They're good and clean up after themselves where other people would leave a mess. They're just great to work with. They give you a time limit and stay on it, unlike others who will say three days and it turns into two weeks. more

Tom Madsen LLC put a trek deck on our house. Tom called and gave us advance notice before he came, he showed up on time, and he had two polite men install the deck. They were well-mannered, well-groomed, and did an exceptional job. He followed up with us after the project and everything was just excellent with them. My house was damaged by the storm and I had no clue who to turn to. Luckily, Tom Madsen was above and beyond. I had heard horror stories about restoration projects but Tom was professional, articulate, and precise. He finished work before he got paid for it. He supervised everything. I later learned his team has been working together for years. He was really on top of things. He did a gorgeous job. He's also such a nice guy and very responsive. I can't say enough good things. When it came time to handle all the insurance and mortgage paperwork, he was helpful with that too! I am 53 years old and this home means everything to me. I was willing to pay whatever it took to make sure the job went well. Now, it's like brand new house. more

Last summer-fall period, Tom Madsen and his crew renovated the inside of my cabin. They did the demolition, electrical, installed tongue and groove pine walls and ceilings, installed new windows and doors, did structural repairs, and had the hardwood floor refinished. Tom did a great job, from start to finish. The work was exceptional, down to the smallest detail. I now have a home in the woods that I can be proud of, thanks to Tom.
