Tokyo Japanese Steakhouse

Located in a shady area of town, this place can easily be called a "fly-by", but I have been a loyal customer for quite some time now, and have never been disapointed. Service is not great, but I will let that pass by most of the time. Great family restaurant. more

Terrible restaurant. Never going again. Waiter brought food ordered from the back before the hibachi chef even showed at our table. Tried to bring back same plate after a visit to the microwave. Even WORSE, a cockroach flew onto the table next to behind us. The chef continued to cook. more

Tokyo had been our restaurant of choice for years. Weekly lunches with my husband as well as the location our family celebrated monthly birthdays, anniversaries, report cards and out of town guests. Sadly, we will never return and I will no longer recommend this restaurant. This last month we had our biggest celebration ever to share as a family. We had 3 sets of grandparents from 3 parts of the country here in Pensacola with us. We had a reservation and our entire party was early. We were seated poorly our waiter was completely lacking in attention, personality and details ( no birthday song/no pictures taken) - it was not "our" Tokyo. Our family will never go back, it was that ridiculous. I will no longer suggest this restaurant for Homecoming, Prom, birthdays or any event that attention to detail is expected. more

This place is fantastic, they have tons of japanese cuisine and it isnt expensive either. A lot of people from my work go there once a week and eat and i was pretty impressed, i never thought of really going there, but after they took me there i couldnt believe it! their sushi is the best along with most of the things they serve. The atmosphere is great and the seating is comfortable. I recommend going. more

Tokyo is the largest Japanese steak house in town. They have a sushi bar and seafood bar. As well as a kids menu. They also have a party room for up to 40 people. Their menu is huge and they are in a nice location. They serve lunch Monday thur Friday. Kids love the hibachi menu. It's the perfect place for a nice romantic Friday or Saturday night dinner. more
