I am reviewing the restaurant in this hotel, as I have never stayed in the hotel itself. This is a historic building, which (according to their signs) used to be a popular resort spot for travelers from Idaho, washington and CAlifornia in the early 1900's. It's right on Willapa Bay, on the Tokeland Peninsula, and far away from anything remotely urban.\r

We like to stop in here for breakfast because the food is good and reasonably priced, and they are kid-friendly. The lobby is a great place to stop after a long drive. They have a real wood-burning fireplace and don't mind you lingering if you are going to or have eaten in their dining room.\r

We had the pancakes and the eggs benedict, and although there was nothing special about the food, it was very good standard breakfast fare. The service was very friendly. The dining room is a bit tight, and the furniture outdated (well, I guess they are going after the history buffs).\r

All in all, we enjoyed ourselves and would recommend it unless you are really opposed to the dust that comes with a historic operation.
Pros: Great Breakfast, interesting history
Cons: Dusty
