Used to be awesome 10/17/2008

When this place first opened they had all Japanese sushi chefs. The sushi and sashimi was great. Now they have Mexicans making the sushi and the rice falls apart all over the place. I still eat there, but only occasionally. The quality of the fish is still there, but the preparation is lame. A lobster is offered as part of your dinner (sorry not at lunch), but you have to ask for it or you wont get it. The Ramen is good. more

Japan at the Mall 11/18/2005

Located at the second floor of the Westminster Mall, Todai Restaurant is the urban old meets new Japanese style cuisine. Although the food is traditional Japanese, this place caters to the young and hip teens seen flocking Westminster Mall. Parking as we know is going to be hard to find on the weekends do to the Mall atmosphere. Prices however are surprisingly fair. more

todai is a sushi buffet style restaurant. it is a bit pricey but there is a big variety of sushi to choose from and they also have a pretty decent sized amount of other items to choose from. the food tastes pretty good. i would recommend this restaurant to those who like buffet style restaurants and sushi. more

Many people like this place because of the bang for your buck factor and the impressive number of food selections. I avoid this place at all costs because the food is worse than mediocre. I love Japanese/Asian food and Todai can hardly be called that. You can spend less money and get a better meal anywhere else in town. Try Song Long for Vietnamese or Shimura for Japanese (both very affordable). more

Todai Restaurant of Westminster is located in the Westminster Mall. The foods is okay, the price is relative expensive, but what can you expect for a restaurant that located in a mall. The place is okay, but I wouldn’t’ come back a second time because it didn’t impress me for the price they charge me. more

Todai Restaurant Westminster is located in Westminster Mall. Last time I drop by and tried it with my friend. Todai Restaurant Westminster is an okay place to eat. I thought it might be better because how expensive their price is. They are ok, if you want to try then do at your own risk. more

Sushi anyone 6/20/2005

I went to Todai’s with my friends. It’s mostly a Japanese’s restaurant. They have different kinds of sushi and a lot of rare stuff. I love their udon noodles, it was amazing. Oh and they also give you complimentary half lobsters per person. Another thing that they have is the cutest little dessert. I mean little pieces of chocolate cakes. I would definitely recommand this place! more

Very Expensive 6/19/2005

Todai Restaurant Westminster is a Japanese restaurant. I took my parent there for my dad birthday. Their prices are high and the food isn’t that good. I think $14 a plate. I didn’t feel so good afterward. But I guess it was okay because my parents like it there. But to me, it just like any normal restaurant but just overprice. more
