This restaurant was across the street from the Omni hotel where we stayed and after checking out their menu which is posted outside I decided that we had to eat here at least one night during our stay.
I am so glad I did, what a beautiful place this is. From the moment you ride in the antique elevator you know that something special is about to happen , and it does.
The food was so good, the coconut shrimp were huge and just so good I am at a loss to describe them. They are served with three dipping sauces , yum!!
I had the oyster stew and the chevre fondue as my main course and my husband had the house specialty the slow cooked prime rib.
My husbands prime rib was huge and can you believe it , they asked him if he wanted more... even he couldn't fit any more in.
My chevre fondue cracked me up, it was more like make your own brushetta but it was delicious and I loved it.
We split a molten chocolate truffle cake and both agreed this was one very fine dining experience.
Our waiter Christopher couldn't have been more attentive even after a large business group moved into our area and he was running around like crazy.
We loved this place and I would give it 10 stars if I could.
