This local sandwich shop has a variety of sandwiches that make it easy to grab a quick lunch downtown. If you're a coffee drinker you're in for a treat because these people know how to make a good cup o' joe. Pros: Good sandwich selection, excellent staff. Cons: Long lines around noon, go at eleven o'clock. more

Turkey Avocado is tremendous.. Really nice people.. Just wish it was closer to my work.. love the selection of chocolate and candy, it reminds me of switzerland. Best sandwich shop in town owned by, I believe, Bosnian immigrants. Be sure to read the menu carefully, but I recommend the turkey avocado. Pros: Great food, service and cleanliness Cons: None. more

Nice People, Good Food 10/31/2007

Toaster?s is a cute sandwich shop that is a little pricey, but its European flair makes up for it. So far each item I have tried has been very fresh and good. The ambiance is peaceful and relaxing and they sell some fun imports like Kinder Eggs. \r \r I am addicted to a light breakfast here of a toasted bagel with cream cheese, simple but perfect. Dead fly on sandwich 8/22/2007

I have frequented Toasters for a very long time as it is located very close to my office. I have been more than satisfied with the quality and taste of their veggie sandwich. However, yesterday I removed the bread off my sandwich and looked down on the avocado and to my horror there was a dead fly sitting right there on the avocado. Enough said, I will never go back. more

Whoever thought of putting balsamic vinegar on a sanwich was brilliant! It is the perfect match! The turkey sanwiches are killer. The atmosphere is great. Trust me, you won't regret going there. Wow! A taste of Europe in Downtown SLC 6/26/2006

I love going to Toasters! I work downtown and Toasters is just a short walk. Everytime I walk in I am greeted with a smile and friendly conversation. The food is delicious! The price is great and the atmosphere is definatly european. If you are looking for a warm fresh toasted sandwich then you have just found your new favorite place. Best sandwich I have ever had. Period. 6/20/2006

Toasters is really just a little cafe owned and operated by very polite immigrants (Russian?). The house special sandwich is the best sandwich I have ever had. I know that is a big statement and I am standing by it. They have lots of sandwich choices but we have only also tried the tuna, which is also very good. We also ordered a mocha coffee and it was okay, but a bit too strong. Pros: Great sandwiches more
