Although Jack takes beautiful pictures, I don't recommend this studio because I found them unaccommodating and rigid with their ""rules."" Once I came with my baby to view her photos and afterwards when I asked to use the changing room, Will told me it was closed.\r

Another rule that's particularly annoying is that when you do the one-year baby panel (your baby at 3 mos, 6m, 9m and 1 year) is that they won't let you schedule the next shoot until you've viewed the pictures from the previous one - you can't do a slideshow and then a photo shoot in the same appointment, which would save you a trip. They're not really about making things easy for their clients.\r

Another reviewer mentioned there's ""no pressure,"" but I disagree. The pressure isn't verbal. When you come view the pictures, that appointment is THE ONLY CHANCE YOU HAVE to purchase any photos from that shoot. After that, they delete your baby's photos from the computer. (Ah, but they don't tell you until your first slideshow - sneaky, huh?) It's now-or-never, which I find outrageous. Last time I used a professional photographer was my wedding, before digital film, so maybe practices have changed, but photographers DID NOT THROW AWAY the negatives of pictures you don't order! They let you order photos when you want, and then usually after 3-5 years, let you buy the negs. I know I'm comparing baby-wedding, digital-film, but still, deleting your baby's photos and never letting you have the option of purchasing pictures later on is a very underhanded and sleazy sales technique.\r

Some reviewers raved about Lilhearts being so much better than chain studios like JC Penney, which is ridiculous. ANY studio is gonna be better than a mall studio! Don't compare apples to oranges. This is So. CA and there are plenty of talented photographers if you look. Your only options are not Lilhearts or Babies R Us.\r

Also, they charge $12-15 to ship photos to you - gave me a creepy feeling that they really try to milk you.
Pros: Nice photos, pleasant environment
Cons: Rigid rules, unaccommodating, delete photos that you don't order during viewing
