I had a great dinner at Tisha's last night, and I'm looking forward to my next visit to that wonderful restaurant. more

I took my date here for her birthday and we had a great time. We were greeted by a super friendly receptionist and the service was awesome. The meal was mouth watering all the way down to the last bite. The design and atmosphere of the restaurant was outstanding as well. I highly recommend Tisha's for anyone seeking a great restaurant to sit down and dine at. more

With so many fine restaurants to choose from in Cape May (I highly recommend both Black Duck and Ebbitt Room), I advise you to steer clear of Tisha's purely because of the disrespectful service. In additon to the mediocre food (they drench everything in buer blanc to disguise the inadequacies), we were met with consistent rudeness that ruined our entire evening of dining, which took an unexpected 3+ hours. Not only were we made to wait over 45 minutes for our 8:00 reservation, the subsequent service was sluggish and unprofessional, expecially at these prices (typical entire is around $25 - $35). While the location may be alluring, you will thank me for saving you from some true grief by staying away from Tisha's. We fell in love with this restaurant! The food was great, with all those little extras you may request. The fish was fresh and the meat was cooked well. Chocolate flowerless cake was to die for!!! Service was very friendly and helpful. The view of the beach is amazing, we set next to the window and felt the sea breeze during the dinner. Do make reservations in advance, the place gets packed on the weekend. Also, don't forget to bring a nice bottle of wine, since this place is BYOB.
