Tires Plus Total Car Care

I have been going to this Tires Plus since I moved here about a year ago... LOVE IT!!!!! I don?t ever have to worry about some dude screwing me over, the staff are amazing, and pricing is more than fair. If something is wrong with my car, they let me know, show me the issue, then I just let them know yes or no on fixing the problem. I have never had an issue with any tires plus that I have been to, nor do I think I ever will. I have had oil changes, regular maintenance check ups, alignment, and I have purchased tires here before and I ALWAYS get the best deals. If you shop around for tire prices and find tires that are cheaper, TIRES PLUS will price match them, if not give you a little bit better deal. Anyone that tells you that tires plus on University has poor service... their crazy! I have sat inside that building for a couple hours & listened to people that come into the store with car issues and the guys at the front always take good care of everyone. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my car but Tires Plus... (and I don't) :) more

Tires Plus in West Des Moines is a terrible place to buy tires. I have bought tires there in the past, but the management they have in place now are so inferior that it is scary. I felt like they hire ex cons. I left my vehicle there to have the tires replaced and was told I could expect it to be done in a few hours, which I returned. When I returned the help they have hired, had the hood open to my truck and was inside the engine compartment messing with it, even though there was no reason for this....I did not want any kind of system check. When I aproached their ""techs"" to ask them why they had the hood open when all I wanted was to have my tires replaced they acted like ex cons. Their resonse was ""we charge double time to watch us"". After waiting another two hours past what they advised I could expect the tires to be replaced the ""manager"" and I use the term loosely as he this person was the one who advised me they charge extra watching, tried to come out into the waiting area and act like he was professional and made excuses for taking so much time. I honestly was amused that he was talking to me differently in the waiting area as compared to the way he talked to me just a short time ago in the garage area. This has been an amusing converstation in several gathering that I have been involved in. Also, they were suppose to provide a ""free"" alignment check when you have your tires replace (which they will tell you, that your will need, so I expected it), however they forgot to do this. It was so late and getting time for them to close at this point (I had made my appt. in the morning), that they didn't try to tell me I should have it. When they say they have a manager working on it.....everyone there is has a manager title....just check out the Better Business Bureau site. I would never again trust my vehicle there for tires that are a ""little less"" than the competition. I definitely would not trust my vehicle there to have ANY kind of service work done! more
