My 80 year old mother went to tires plus in Grandview to get the oil changed. They recommended she get a coolant flush and a brake flush. She agreed and the work was supposedly done. About 9 days later, first time she drove it, steam came up off her engine and her check engine light came on. She went back to tires plus to see what was wrong. They said what they did had nothing to do with the check engine light. They said the steam was caused by a coolant leak between the intake and the block. Said it would be 3 hours labor and cost 300 to 400 dollars to fix it. My 80 year old mother said she would take it to Jerry's Auto Repair (also in Grandview). When she got to Jerry's, they found the upper radiator clamp was loose. At Jerry's Auto Repair they said that Tires Plus did not do a proper brake flush. They merely changed the fluid and charged her for the entire brake flush. I'm her son, and I'm disappointed in Tires Plus. Why would you do business with these scammers?
