Tires Plus Total Car Care

When I went the end if May Mike told me the tires I wanted were the wrong size and not on sale and recommended a different tire. $600 and nearly 3 hours later I left. Every time I got on the free way my sensors went off. I kept calling the store and they told me I put in the wrong amount of air. For 6 months they told me this. Finally I stopped in Ocala at that Tires plus put in air drove to the Gnv store because My sensors had gone off again! They had put on the wrong size tires then tried to deny it but accidentally wrote it on the invoice. They offered me a free oil change for the mistake and six month ordeal. I'm happy to show the invoice where they admit it. Avoid Mike at all cost. And Wayne is polite but lies to cover for the employees who put on the wrong size. more

Been going there for years. LOVE IT. Not really sure what the complaints are about. Yes, I've had to realign my tires more than once as well; but thats cuz I've hid some nasty pot holes and its what happens. I've found them to be honest, reliable and polite. more

These guys persuaded me to replace the 4 tires of my car. I put then the best tires in the market, including tire alignment, spending a total of 600 bucks. After some time (around a year), the car started to make a weird sound and the regular car service check noticed tire misalignment in the 4 tires. I went to talk to them very politely explaining what had happened and they told me that I have to replace the 4 tires again and that they have no responsibility for this because it is supposed that you have to aligned the tires every 6 months or 6,000 miles!!!!. Then, when I went few days later to look for quotations to do the work, they told me that I also have to change the struts!!! So, in total, tire + struts = 2,000$!!!!!. I consulted to other 3 places and they told me that definitely the problem was a bad tire alignment from the initial day and that by just doing a good alignment in the tires will start to worn even and the problem will be fixed with time. Yes, I just did a Google for their phone number & seen the reviews and laughed. I personally have bought a couple of sets of tires and have had oil changes with no problems; they even beat the competitor?s price for tires. BEWARE Gainesville is a college town,\r This station is in an extremely high volume traffic area which most of us locals avoid as much as possible, In general, I went their because they had my tires in stock and just kept going despite the traffic.\r If you call and make an appointment there real quick or they have always told me their real busy can you leave it. As far as ripping people off, I don't think so. Example: why do I have to buy new rotors because my brake pads wore out and they were metal to metal, I just want the brake pads. I've heard so many like this while waiting. If you have a sense of humor, you will enjoy your wait. scam! Last time I took my car there, they kept asking for more hours of work to put on a new part where you put your key to start the car, and I ended up spent about $500 to fix that. After they claim they replace this part, the warning sound for reminding you the key was gone. When I asked them to fix that before I took my car to other place to fix other problems, they told me that cannot fix that (a problem they cause). After hours of argument through the phone, they fixed the warning sound, but it looked like they just forced to connect some wires inside because the area for the key were poorly resembled. The Tires Plus at 34th St and Archer Rd: I took my car in for a quick oil change before heading out of town. They told me I needed $1,000 worth of repairs. I got a second opinion from a trusted place I've been using for years. There was NOTHING WRONG with my car. more

I get my oil change there all the time so I know the service is prompt and fast. Pretty good at checking all the important stats on your car everytime more

Bunch of thugs who are just after your money. They would say problems in a sequence. Once you fix one, they will point to another and the list goes on till u have drained all your money. I ended up paying more than my car's worth because they kept on bringing one problem after another more

Haven't experienced them for major mechanical work but we always have our oil changes done here. We always find coupons floating around! Their service is great! more

You think these guys only sell tires? They are the best in town for the most amazing oil change ever. They work fast and get the job done. No waiting and no hassle. I visited this store because I had a flat tire. They were really productive and efficient in fixing the tire by giving me good fast service within a reasonable amount of time. I felt really happy once I left the store with a drivable vehicle. I'm sure that if anyone needs car repair, Tires Plus would be a great way to go. more

I like this place, i use them in soth florida. I use the gator green backs for coupons for oil changes, and i got the 3 year tire alignment, its worth the price. Can not go when students are going out of town or when it is raining,because it will be busy as hell. more
