I just needed an oil change, but even so you never know who you are going to or what outrageous charge they will give.\r \r Jojo was everything they said. He was genuine, straightforward, professional and reasonable. If I need anything else done on my car I will go back without reservation. more

Great service, great price for alignments! 5/14/2008

I went here to get an alignment, and they gave me great service at a great price and took the time to do it right. The owner Jojo really knows what he's doing, and he's HONEST, which can be difficult to find in auto repair. I'm an engineer who's into cars, so I know when a mechanic is trying to screw me -- none of that here. I'm definitely going back! Pros: Honesty, job done right Cons: Can take longer, but better to have it done right in more time than sloppily in less more

BEST SERVICE IN SAN FRANCISCO, EVER!! 4/13/2006

I came across the tire broker through a friend. What a great find. Great service, best prices in town. Jojo is a great mechanic with lots of experience. I brought my car to him for tires and an alignment and continue to go back for tune-ups. Can't beat the service you get at the Tire Broker. Highly, highly recommended. Thanks Jojo and Donaldo. Jo Jo has renewed the myth, you know the one about the mechanic that knows what's going on with the car beforehand. Man this guy will diagnostic your problem faster than you can read this review. Then he'll move on to Taking care of the problem usually in the same day, and finally he will be austere when it comes to your bill. Great people and service! 1/18/2006

My car wouldn't start unless it was jumped. Thought this meant the alternator was broken. I called Tire Broker Auto Service after seeing other people's reviews...they were great. Helped me out within an hour, i was there for maybe 30 minutes at most. They replaced my battery, did a quick check (wasn't the alternator) and even told me what i did not yet need to buy. Very honest, helpful, and friendly! Pros: honest, friendly, helpful more

SF native supports great service / great people 11/15/2005

I've been up and down this town many a year in many a bucket or bmw, a former auto-claims adjuster amongst a million other things, i've heard and seen it all. These guys treat you well, and will save you a buck whenever they can. at Jojo's shop they treat you like family- better even. Before these guys ""honest-mechanic"" was an oxy-moron, glad to be proven wrong. Pros: decent parking, near food options, fair more

Absolutely Recommended 5/1/2005

After a terrible experience at a different san francisco auto repair shop, we were towed to these guys. What a lucky find. They were friendly, honest, and best of all the figured out the problem in under 5 minutes...the problem was a disconnected grounding wire left off after a transmission rebuild. This little wire was going to cost us $250 down the road at san francisco auto repair, but the guys at Tire Broker and Auto Service put it back together free of charge in under 20 minutes! They completely saved our weekend in SF and our visit for our friend's wedding. Thanks Jojo!!! Pros: Honest, Friendly, knowledgeable more
