First visit and I am hooked!!! 7/11/2011

My first ever experience with Greek food and it was excellent. I was always afraid to try a new type of food but when my co-workers talked me into having Tinos delivered I was left in awe. It was so good. I had the Gyro meat with pita and tzatziki sauce and it was delicious. The portion size was huge and the price was even better. It seems like every week I am the one trying to get my co-workers to have Tinos delivered to us again. more

Great place, great food! 2/15/2011

I have been to Tinos several times now and it is absolutely delicious. The food is great and the staff is really friendly. I think I will probably start making Tinos one of my weekly stops. more

Great food, generous portions! 8/29/2008

I love Tino's! I eat there at least every couple of weeks and have been to several locations. The food is always consistently delicious, and you receive ample food for the price. There is always plenty left for lunch the next day, assuming I can control myself and not eat until I pop! more

Overpriced food that makes you sick 6/11/2008

I went there last night thinking it'll be easy and convenient and hopefully good. It was WAY over priced and mediocre tasting. The fun came about 30 mins after - I had the worst headache, nausea, stomach cramps, and aches. (and that was the only thing I had had to eat for over 5 hours so I know it was Tino's food). And I can't believe they charged $3. extra for the same small portions of slop they must serve at lunch. NEVER AGAIN! It makes me sick just thinking about it. Cons: overpriced food that makes you sick more

An awful dining experience 2/5/2008

This is the first review I have ever done. My experience at Tino's was so bad, I sought out a vehicle to share it with potential Tino's customers. My son and I tried this restaurant for dinner on 28 Dec 2007. Both the food and personnel attitudes were awful. We each had a plate with the sliced lamb (barely warm), falafel (cool to the touch), spanakopita (cool to the touch), and dolma (actually cold). The people behind the counter were only interested in getting us through the line. When I complained about the cold food, I got only a shrug. I have no idea if they were just having a bad night or if this is normal. In any case I will never go back. Cons: Indifferent staff, bad food more

Great Greek 12/7/2007

The lunch platter is huge and a great value. I always get a side of tzatziki and pita. The lamb gyro is excellent! more

Not Traditional Greek Food 11/2/2007

I guess the food is not awful, but if you want some pastitio and avgolemono soup like grandma used to make you will be seriously disappointed. I am not a fan of the food or service. Pros: Cute Cafe to eat in Cons: Food more

Yummy... 9/10/2007

Great lamb gyro, cheese pie & Greek salad. we went as soon as it opened, nice little place with tables outside. you order through a line and pay, then go sit at your table. Friendly staff, will def go again! Pros: gyros, cheese pie Cons: can' t think of any more

Do they want people to come back??? 6/29/2007

I love Greek food. I hate bad service. I've been there before, but I think this was the last time. Before I could even get up to the counter and see what I wanted, the server began requesting my order so FAST I had to ask him repeatedly what he'd said. I even looked behind me to see if there was a long line that he was trying to get through swiftly, but it was only me in line. I speak fast, but seriously... Both the server and the cashier were cold and uninviting. I was a number, not a customer. And they're pretty stingy on the extra sides. Don't dare ask for extras unless you're willing to seriously overpay. Once the guy in front of me asked for extra olives and the manager on duty looked at the server and nodded ""no."" The guy had to ask 4 times and said he'd even pay extra - then the manager stepped in and gave him 2 extra olives. I couldn't believe what I'd just witnessed! The food isn't that bad, but honestly: I feel like Tino's on 183 thinks they're the only Greek spot in town. I'd happily drive a farther and eat at Zorba's, Phoenicia Bakery or Athenian Grill downtown for better service and a friendlier environment. Pros: Food is o.k. Cons: Service is bat guano more

Long lines during lunch, but worth it. 6/24/2007

I stopped in just because I was curious to see why this place was so popular. There was a line out the door during lunch hour on a weekday. The wait was definitely worth it. This place has the best Greek cuisine around. Reasonably priced and good service. more

Excellent food for 10 bucks 11/8/2006

I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. It is really good. Being from Europe I am used to good greek food and I had a hard time finding it. Now even that this doesn?t have all the great dishes that involve scampi and grilled lamb skewers, it is really great. You get a whole lot of food for 10 bucks, incl. Gyro Wraps (either lamb or chicken). The tzsaziki sauce is excellent and just about everything I tried there so far. I would highly recommend it. Damn, just thinking about it is making my mouth water. Pros: Great Food, Cheap, Always Parking more
