This a has long been a popular place for school field trips, in fact I went while in elementary school. Tinkertown Museum is a child's wonderland. The trip to the museum will take you on a beautiful drive up Sandia mountain. I recommend planing a trip and taking the day to tour the museum and then picnic on the mountainside, your children will love it and so will you. more

Tinkertown is a hoot! It is a wonderful display of animated models in a hodge-podge building. Our kids love to watch all of the animation. more

A must-see! 8/6/2005

This is a must-see if you are both a resident of New Mexico or someone just visiting. This antique museum filled with little handmade circus scenes is something the whole famliy can enjoy. You will never see a place like this anywhere else in the world. The gift shop is awesome and the staff is very welcoming and friendly. more
