Terrible experience, run don't walk away. Overcharges for shoddy work. Estimates not same as bill. They quoted me a price to bleed my heating system then billed me four times what they quoted. People are entitled and arrogant. more

Their $65 fee has gone up to $85+ tax. I called them yesterday because one of the plastic lines going from my drainage pump to my sump pump was clogged. Guy came out today and I showed him the line. He cut off the end piece and confirmed what I already knew: It was clogged. He then said he had the line in his van and that he would have to look in his book for pricing. 5 Minutes later he came back and the total charge was going to be $297 including a "$85 "diagnositc fee" When I told him that that price was outrageous for a $15 plastic line on a job that took 10 seconds to "diagnose" and couldn't take longer than half an hour to install, he tried to upsell me to their maintenance package of $220 a year so that I could get a discount of 20% on their service today. Yeah right...So I told him thatI wasn't going to proceed but he still charged me the $85 "diagnositc fee" My wife and I have been using T&R for almost 15 years, but this was the last time we used them. more

LOVED THEM! I WOULDN'T HAVE ANYONE ELSE IN MY HOME. I READ THE FOLLOWING REVIEW AND THOUGHT WELCOME TO 2009...DID YOU REALLY EXPECT THEM TO FIX THE OTHER TOILET FOR $5....WHO WOULD WANT YOU AS A CUSTOMER...THEY ARE LUCKY NOT TO HAVE YOU AS A CLIENT. i WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM. THEY HAVE REPLACED MY FURNACE AND AC AND HAVE REMODELED TWO OF MY BATHROOMS. EVERYONE FROM THE OFFICE STAFF TO TECHNICIAN IS PROFESSIONAL AND A PLEASURE TO DEAL WITH :) more

Tindall Ranson Plbg Htg & Ac is HORRIBLE 9/8/2009

I am a single parent, and my two sons are away at college so when I needed to have a flapper replaced on one of my toilets I decided to call Tindall and Ranson. I called last week to schedule an appt. and was told they were booked for a week. I didn't mind because I have two more toilets in my house. I asked how much it would cost and they told me the labor would be $69.00 and whatever the cost of the flapper would be. I figured a flapper would be around $5, and I had a $25 coupon which they sent in the mail. I thought, OK, I could probably do this myself but the cost was reasonable for a plumber to come out and do it for me. They were supposed to arrive today between 12 and 2, and they finally arrived after 3 p.m. While the plumber was here, I asked him to look at my other toilet since I bought the two toilets at the same time and I thought I would save another labor charge in case the other flapper needed replacement. He told me that the other flapper was in bad shape and tha more

Would NEVER Recommend this company\r they did not disclose in advance that there was an unjust fee of $65- just to come out to see what the problem was \r I asked for a quote over the phone and they said they had to see what work needed to be done NEVER mentioning the $65 charge. Would never use or recommend them EVER more

Incredibly poor customer service. 7/3/2007

Competent plumbers, but they couldn't care less about their clients' well-being.\r Continuously leaving jobs un-done due to poor planning or revenue maximization.\r Forces users to buy fixtures at "Baths, etc" a supply house that obfuscates prices and features of items that can be bought on-line for 2/3rds the cost.\r \r The 3rd line plumbers that got sent to our home: 1) ignored our requests and put the toilet 2" over which meant a 2 month delay to return and then order a new cabinet; 2) installed the fill spout on our bathtub/spa in the wrong place, making it impossible to clean our use the spa for its intended use. more

Quality!!!! 6/14/2007

Tindall & Ranson has serviced our home for over 10 years and I couldn't imagine using any other company for our plumbing, heating and cooling needs. Each and every technician as well as the office staff go above and beyond to provide the best possible service. Last year our air went down on one of many 100 degree days. They replaced the ac unit the next afternoon. You can't get any better than that! more

Not for the private home owner 7/29/2005

Tindall Ranson has the worst kind of organization, there is none. They called to set up an appointment 5:30 the night before at my office number stating that they would be at my house 8:30 am the next morning. There is no advance notice and the staff their thinks that they are above everything because they are providing you with a service and saving you from the hot weather. I would look else where if you can. more
