It has been a few years now that I have been looking for a good place to do my hair. For the first time, I found a comfortable and caring place. Tina was very knowledgeable and did a great job on my hair cut and highlights. She also recommended good hair care products. The reason why I decided to go to her salon were the reviews on this website. More precisely, there were no bad reviews about her service. She has not disappointed me. I recommend her services. more

Best Place in Houston 5/12/2010

I've always been very picky about my hair color and was very anxious about finding a new stylist when I made the move to Houston. I could not have been happier about finding Stefani at Tina's Salon! I wanted to try something a little bit new this time and wasn't exactly sure what would look best with my skin tone. Stefani took great care of me! She helped me pick a color that I love and did a wonderful job. I will definitely be going back! Pros: Sweet, fun staff that does a great hair. more

BEST SALON 5/12/2010

This place is really nice. I like that it is in the heights. I also liked that it was a house i thought that was real nice and made me feel more at home. The people who work here are really nice and personable. ( can i say nice one more time?....nice) Everyone is professional and knows what they are doing. Tina's Salon - a touch of class and kindness 4/30/2010

Tina's Salon IS a classy and relaxing salon! I was unsure of what to do with my hair for my sister's wedding! I said I just wanted to look pretty for my sissy. Tina made me feel beautiful. I don't ever feel that way about myself and I have to say ""thank you Tina"" - the artist has made the canvas feel beautiful. It means a lot to me. If you have a special occassion, or just want to get out of the same hair rut - go to Tina's Salon. Not only is Tina talented, she listens to you, asks questions, the experience of feeling good about yourself if worth its weight in gold! Best Hair in Houston! 10/3/2008

My husband and I are 36/38 and have been going to Tina for about 3 years, and we only have rave reviews for Tina and her salon service. Her salon was originally on Richmond and she recently moved to a cozy spot on South Blvd. I love it because it is just Tina, and she does not double book me and take other customers (other than my husband if we come together) while my color is on (which was a complaint I had about my prior salon). When I go for an appointment I have her undivided attention, she is professional, friendly, and extremely technically knowledgable about cuts. My husbands' hair always looks amazing, too. From Frumpy to Fierce! 3/10/2008

Need I say more? Ok I will. I 'm a 32 year old mommy of 3 & work full time. Our youngset is 5 mos & I was suffering from the ""Fumpy Mommy Blue's."" I needed a change & a radical one @ that. I saw a cut I liked on a co-worker. She gave me the name of Tina with some reviews on her. Before I could even get through the first review I was on the phone dialing! I fully expected to be put on a waiting list and wait weeks to get in. Tina called me back personally within 15 mins! By THAT VERY AFTERNOON I WAS IN HER CHAIR! She IS very professional, polite, approachable and easy to talk with! I loved her, her technique & final cut ao much that I booked an appt. for 5 weeks out and I am bringing my 12 y.o. for a consultation with Tina! Best Salon! 12/9/2007

I met Tina after she did hair on a movie shoot my husband was involved with. He liked her so much he tracked her down and now we both go to her on a regular basis. She has done cuts and coloring for us and always does an excellent job. She is incredibly knowledgeable too. After just a few minutes talking with her she diagnosed my thyroid issues and educated me on how they affect my hair growth and the best way to cut my hair and products I can use to help stimulate more growth. I have personally recommended her to several friends and will continue to do so. Her shop is personal and comfortable and clean. I have lived in Houston for 7 years and it has taken me this long to find someone I trust. I will follow Tina all around town if I need to! Best Hair in Houston! 11/7/2007

I met Tina through some friends and when I found out she worked on hair I was excited because I had just moved in-town and lost my usual hairdresser. Nervous because I was used to the same person cutting/coloring my hair for the last several years...I was pleasantly surprised at how well my hair turned out! She has not only cut and colored my hair on several occasions with wonderful results...but she has also created an amazing up-do for a charity event I attended that everyone just loved. The salon is quaint and personable which I love and Tina is a joy! Try her and you'll be glad you did! more

Tina chopped 6 inches off of my hair!!! 4/17/2006

And I wouldn't have trusted it to anyone else... I first met Tina when I was the maid-of-honor for a friend's wedding. The rest of the wedding party got normal updo's, but the bride and I got beautiful, personalized styling from Tina. You can tell the difference in the pictures and I am so glad we went to her. I went back to have about 6 inches chopped off my hair. Yikes! But no one could have been better at it that she. more

The Works 3/6/2006

I am new to town and had the hardest time finding a friendly, clean environment to get my solar nails refilled...unitl I came across Tina's Salon. I just happened apon the salon, walked in and the Christine the nail tech refilled my solar nails on the spot! It is honestly the best set of nails and pedicure I have ever had. Worth every penny! I also met the owner/ hairstylist Tina who conviently booked me immediately for this week. I have had my hair done by some of the top hairstylist in New York and Paris and Tina shows the same if not more knowledge on hair and what is good for me! All of the staff was wonderful when I came in to get a facial, and Poppy was especially great and really knows what she is talking about with skin care. I have gone 2 times and my face always feels wonderful when I leave, and for days afterwards! more

Awesome skin care specialist 7/6/2005

I was in desperate need for a day of waxing and skin pampering. Poppy, the esthetician at Tina's is awesome. She was super professional and efficient but made me feel confortable and relaxed. It is hard to find someone you trust to do your waxing but Tina's has your girl. Also, my skin felt so good after my facial, I immediately scheduled my next appointment. Huge experience 6/22/2005

A friend recommended I get my haircut at this salon. When I walked in for my appointment, I was a little early but the staff offered me a beverage and took me on a brief tour. When my friend had told me about this place, she neglected to mention all the services they provide in this cute renovated house. They offer massages, facials, waxings, manicures, pedicures, Pilates, body treatments, as well as hair services. more
