I rellay have been let down by this place. My appointment was overbooked and I had to sit and wait. After 45 mins I decided to walk out. I would not recommend Brooke Marshall to anyone nor this location Pros: good coffee more

Tina's Hair Distinctions is in a converted brick house in the middle of a residential neighborhood. There are four women who cut hair, plus the proprietor, Tina, who hand-forms acrylic nails. One of the stylists specializes in cutting men's hair (of all ages - children and adult). \r \r My favorite stylist is Brooke Marshall. We chat about our lives while she cuts and colors my hair. I have to set aside a full hour because Brooke is incredibly thorough - she insists upon drying my hair after she cuts it to see if anything doesn't quite look right. I have brought in several pictures, which she adapts to my face. I've gotten lots of compliments on my hair, and have recommended her to several people. My sister also goes to Brooke to get her hair done. \r \r I've had acrylic nails applied by Tina, the owner. They aren't cheap - around $35 to $45 a set, but they are durable, strong, and incredibly natural-looking. Brooke has given me a simple manicure with a paraffin wax dip, and my hands looked amazing. \r \r The coffee is good, and the stylists are all friendly but very busy. If you want a haircut, you'd better call ahead. Pros: Personal service, friendly people, free coffee! Cons: Generally too busy to accept walk-ins more

I have to agree with 2 of the other 3 reviews on how poorly this establishment is. First off when I came in, I came through what seemed to be the back but throughout my visit people used it as the front door, when i came in that way, the refrigerator was open and it looked like enough wine in their for a bar or restuarant. During my cut and color I inquired if wine was given to clients and they said no, so someone must do some heavy drinking while in or after the salon. When I did leave most of the staff was outside smoking with their clients, I didnt know that was a service provided!!! and then you have the smell of smoke everytime they walk in. Open up their hearts to you? Their fake as half of those girls bodies in the salon. I will not come back to their location at all, totally disgusted by lack of style, class and ethic by these girls. more

First off i would like to start by saying who ever would write such horrible things must be jealous!!!! these girls are talented stylists who open their ears and hearts to their clients. I have worked beside these girls in the past none of them are drunks and if they smoke its not on a clients time. Gossip goes on in every salon no matter what it would not be a salon if it didnt!!!! If you are looking for great stylist that work hard and are great at making you feel beautiful this is the place, they will take great care of you and make you feel like a new woman! more

I guess you say the customer service is alittle to job snice one of the employes hooked my husband up with her little sister. As far as hair they're lame at that as well. Maybe they need to learn life skill as well as hair. more

More or less 4-5 girls that are drunks on the weekend, smoke in between clients and complain about how they hate their husbands and cannot wait to get away from them. Far cry from the people I want to see on a monthly basis. more
