The customer that had a complaint, called me out to his house for service on his big screen projecton tv. When I arrived to service his set, he had already replaced a flyback transformer that did not fix his set. I explained to him that I would need to replace the whole board at this point and I would need to send his old board back to the factory for a dud exchange. He wanted the part back that he had put on the board, but I explained to him that they would not take it back without that part. The old one that he took out, he had broke. At that point, he said, "go ahead and fix the set".
