Times Cinema 5906 West Vliet Street Milwaukee WI 53208 http://timescinema.com/ I love this theatre!~ When I lived in the Washington Heights area, Scott and I would walk to this theatre to see the classics. Ahhhh! What a wonderful way to enjoy the evening. But as things change, so have the Times. Now, they are no longer showing classics exclusively. (sad but true!) You can see current films - but unlike your traditional theatres, they do offer things that no one does. Film festivals, movies in 3D, animation fests, live musicians and special appearances by artists. Plus, you can't beat the candy from around the world, real buttered popcorn, and slices of Suzy's cheesecake for sale for your dining enjoyment. Get there early for best parking options and enjoy! more

The Time Cinema I found to be a great fun time. They place old movies for the Friday Night Freak Show that runs two weekends in a row on Fridays starting at midnight. Some times they have a band live first, or give free promotional items out before the movie. It doesn’t have stadium seating, but you can expect popcorn with real butter! more
