Timeless Accents

You save yourself time, money and nerves if you take your clothing somewhere else. I had a jacked that needed sleeves shortened and my husband said that there is a place on the way to his work and I should drop my jacket there to fix. Now I wish I never did… Woman totally ruined my expensive Antonio Melanie jacket. When I asked her assistant for how long her boss has been doing this work and the assistant said that she has been doing this for many years which REALLY surprised me. Sleeves were shortened as drunken person had sewed them- you wouldn’t call it a straight line even if you were drunk as well. Then she tried to fix it and shorten sleeves from the top which was a complete disaster. I cried when I saw my messed up jacket. I wish I never took it to her shop. I found another shop in Edmond that is being run by an Asian guy who does not speak English, but gets his job done perfectly. At the end it cost me $60 to fix her mess up. Take your stuff to someone else who does altering professionally and who guarantees a good quality work. May be she does beautiful embroidery and has cute things in the store, but she does NOT know how to sew. more

The Citysearch decribes Timeless Accents as an antique store, but it is much more than that. While they do have a few antiques and collectables scattered around their store, Timeless Accents specializes in embroidery and monograming on shirts, jackets, hats, ...you name it. They do screen printing and team sports unifoms. They do quality work at affordable prices. They also carry western aparrel such as boots, jeans, belts and hats, along with other types of aparrel. They carry knives and jewelry, candles, soaps and lotions, and much more. Their new store decore is set in an old barn type of setting with old wood and barn tin, with lots of nostalgia items mixed in, which is particularly fitting due to their location on Route 66. They even have the front end of an old chevy truck above the sales counter that looks as though it crashed through the wall. Just a neat store with lots to look at (and buy), friendly customer service and top quality work. Go check them out!
