I received a flyer in the mail that had a scratch off from this dealership. The number under the scratch off matched a number directly underneath the "Flatscreen TV" prize. There were directions listed as well that used ambiguous wording in a very blatant attempt to deceive the recipient and imply they have won some major prize. In looking at previous complaints on the BBB and reviews online this is not out of the ordinary for this company to rip people off and deceive them and apparently they have done this scam in the past as well.
My specific experience at the dealership occurred at about 6:15PM on 12/13/18. I arrived and spoke with a salesman and was told that even though my scratch off number matched the number under the TV that it was not the prize won. According to the fine print on the back there were a total of 50,000 prizes available and 50,000 flyers mailed out meaning, as confirmed by the salesman, every single flyer recipient won a prize. I asked what the point of including the scratch off portion was if every flyer was a winner. The salesman agreed that it was meaningless and there was no reason to include it. The flyer ended up being good for a Bluetooth speaker supposedly valued at $60 which ended up being a cheap speaker that can be purchased online for sub $5. I asked the Sale Rep if I could speak with a manager about their deceitful advertising which he did do but in asking they joked and laughed with the other employees there that I was annoyed about their dishonest advertising. In comes the manager who did not give me his name. Talking with the manager he said that he was the one who designed the flyer (Contradicting other BBB complaints). He too admitted that every flyer was a winner and agreed that he could have easily just put a banner saying "Come in to win one of these prizes" and then listed the possible prizes once you came into the dealership.
